The flight attendants that worked the 170's for mainline (MidAtlantic) finally heard some good news!!! If they worked at all in 06 their W-2's are included in the profit sharing!!!! Is the company finally admitting that we worked here? Apparently, they (Sandcastle)said 'we were on the pay roll and on the same certificate so yes..our W-2's count also." Sounds like to me they ARE finally starting to admit it!!

Glad to hear that...

SKY High states: You call this good news? You should be outraged. LQQK at your W-2, and then wait til you see your pittance of a profit sharing check. You were screwed twice.

Outraged at what???? I chose to work there for that type of money...so none of us are outraged that our w-2 counts...and I only made 2 grande more here since I came back June 1st. So tell me what the outrage should be? I am only making 60cents more than what I was making there. Sooo 3 year pay at Usairways is only 60cents more than Midatlantic 2 year pay. So yeah...I am happy I got my W-2 included.

xoxo,

Thanks for the good news. It always seemed to me that Tempe in particuliar was saddened by the demise of MidAtlantic and wanted to do something for us but was hemmed in by contract and some legal problems. It is wonderful that they found this "loophole" for us. When Doug was on the New Livery Tour with the first plane he was very gracious to MidAtlantic and he demonstrated how visible we were in his mind that day.

I am saddened by Doug Parker's recent problems and am hoping that this will be an epiphany for him. Still think that he has the makings of a true airline guy like Bethune but obviously needs to mature out of the cliche' golf tourney, big black BMW, good ole boys thing and get back to being the guy on the tarmac doing the jet pull.

I will assume he had to institute or approve the inclusion of the MidAtlantic time.....so....

Thank You Mr. Parker.

So? Every FA on the East was screwed with the profit sharing when they decided to share it with West. And?

Reserves at mainline were screwed also, since their w2's are so low. And?

What's your point?? At least they are included, even thought their share is small.

Bottom line, the employees in general have been "screwed", so let's change that!

Every little bit helps. With MAA included I will get 5.5 more months of wages added into the mix. Sure is better then not having 5.5 months being added in.

/happy dance

Jesus Christ, hundreds of our F/As are going to get a higher profit sharing check and the company is making a small step to right a major wrong and you say something stupid like this.

XOXO was pointing out how much that profit sharing is needed by those F/As... and if your making a comment about the low MAA pay then you are clearly not familiar with what the company is now paying those F/As upon return to mainline.

You probably don't have the slightest IDEA what our paychecks look like or what they did (mine were higher at MAA ironically enough)so why not just "close your face".

Unless you are donating a dollar or two then keep it closed. Your post is ridiculous.

Congrats to the Mid girls and boys!

There were some MidAtlantic flight attendants on the the plane that day that Doug apparently asked to come along.

Yes..there were a few that he personally invited. Apparently, there was a inflight supervisor that was rude and didnt want them to have anything to do with it because they were "MAA". Then DP met them and invited them along for the whole entire day. By the way..that supervisor is one of the few that recently was asked to resign. BYBY..

I believe that the person that you're referring to was Intl. Base Mgr. at that time. Please keep in mind that this is alledged to have been the case.

Nice gesture on Doug's part and I remember the 3 MAA F/As were pretty impressed.
