Are you saying that the most junior, least paid workers, doesn't take sodas, water, pretzels, milk off the a/c????

By reading your post, you imply that as soon as you hit the 9th year of seniority you will either be quitting or wanting to get fired.

The F/A gave me 2 mini's on a recent flight, I drank one and put the other in my pocket, is that stealing from US Airways?

Nope - they were given to you by a representative of the company. Now, if the F/A knew that you were going to take one with you, that's probably a violation of company policy and the F/A could get in trouble.

Or how about the F cabin isn't full but catered full is it stealing for the crew members to take those extra meals? Meals that would likely be thrown out?

Nope again - it's always been my understanding (reinforced by a memo to two over the years) that anything non-alcoholic on the airplane is fair game while we're on the airplane (with the unwritten understanding that the customers get first shot). Water, soft drinks, food (non-BOB), snack basket, etc.

So as long as we leave a couple of XOXO's for the Roaches to fight over we're ok .

Regardless of the cost of the item you all can go into the archives of discipline and discharge arbitrations that are never favorable towards the employee. I agree that we do have employees in our midst that lost so much but the end does not justify the means. We as employees do not have the right to pilfer. The issue of negotiating a fair contract has very little to do with sticky fingers. I am sadden that a passenger would react in this manner but the world is not about the higher road.

7 pages going on 8..Do I hear 8? 9? PEOPLE, PLEASE!! If the company were soooooo concerned with stealing, they A. would have locks on the liguor kits B. would have the f/a's turn the money in at the end of each flight and sign off to the agent and C. created US money where there is NO money exchange on the a/c...which has been suggested time and time again.

Hell, the company doesn't keep up with the inventory so why go on the holy ride with this f/a. My feeling is PEOPLE ARE HUMAN!!! You put it out there to easily take, it will get taken...period. If yoou start firing for everything everyone at any place "steals", there wouldn't be much of a workforce.

Let's see...I open a liguor kit and pull out 6 yellow receipt forms dating two month ago

I overnight with seals on the kits to see the next morning on the SAME a/c the seal is broken and minis are missing.

Before any of you even come CLOSE to being self righteous and on the high ground, consider that until the company become SERIOUS about inventory accountability and inventory protection, don't expect anything to change. Most importantly, don't expect me to leave any paper trail of MY handling the kits. Too many hands in the pot.

Wow...am too amazed that this ridiculous thread is STILL going on. Again, mind your own business.....leave the F/A's alone, geez people enough of the F/A bashing! You have no idea what they have to put up with anymore.....especially at such low wages! Since we've become a so-called AWA style "low cost carrier" we've taken on a totally different clientele with problems onboard that would curl your toes! As long as nobody's safety was jeopardized this issue will resolve itself in time. Again, it sounds to me like the original poster was having a bad experience and was looking for anything to justify a complaint to the company! JMO :down:

I'm going to hope that you folks are recently-hired Express folks and that those of you sending me a plethora of support in private chat are longer term REAL USair employees.
