Temporary Injunction against USAPA filed today

Uh, you don't have to accept a job from a company, you have the choice. But, the fact that you MUST join a union who is out there to "protect" you, while its leaders are rolling in your dough, is obscene. If your union was good, people would join on their own accord, you wouldn't need to pass a law requiring them to join and pay you. Extortion...that is NOT the American way. You have the right to choose a company. But you don't have the right to choose whether to belong to a union...are you against the idea of a democracy (or actually, a republic?) 🙄

My nephew had a crap job at a grocery store, the union goon threatened him with violence and keyed his car. He stood up to him and told him that intimidation and destruction was no way to to sell his point and that he wasn't gonna take any crap from them. They backed down... Since then, he joined the Navy, he gets promoted on his merit now. In theory unions sound good, but intimidating people is beyond unethical. Let people choose, what are the unions afraid of?
Yeah, like you said, you have a choice of company. If you don't want to be union, get hired at an airline that isn't represented. I'm know delta is hiring, they've damaged too many planes lately to not be.
Funny you keep bringing up republic, seeing that they rule according to law. RLA = law. Why can't you understand it?

Geez...are you dense? Republic..as in Constitutional Republic....

RLA is a relic, as are most union laws. Dinosaurs from another age. The world is our competition, and if we want to keep acting like its 1940, we are in the dust. Right to work works in other industries, why does RLA restrict that? To keep the country safe from railway strikes...really? How about a level playing field. Why don't you want people to have a choice? Why do unions have to intimidate their members? Its 2011, world changed, sorry you were riding the slow change.

Oh, and as for the law...why not follow the law...look up "Binding Arbitration"

First, I'm not a fan of the RLA. it hinders us from self help in a timely manner. We shouldn't have to have a mediator declare an impasse for us to strike. I agree it is a relic. They say it is fair to employer and employee, although the employer's benefits vastly outweigh the worker's. We should all be under the nlra, like the rest of the industries. That's a separate issue. Also, I'm not a pilot. I agree that they should adhere to binding arbitration, seeing that all parties agreed to it. I can see the argument from both sides (east/west), but since there was an agreement it should be honored. Right to work helps no one but the companies, but that's who you want it to help. How are you American, yet don't believe in the idea of a group of people uniting together to better themselves? Isn't that how this country was formed? Hence 'united'. Not really a shocker that you're from management and from AZ, that's to be expected by your views.

TEAM TEMPE is supposed to be a tree full of owls-hooting when management heads into the wrong part of the forest. Were still convinced they don't even know where the forest is.” MM!

Also, a constitutional republic is what I was referring to when I said republic. Not the airline.
But you should know that if you read my post. I don't think it was hard to comprehend, but then again, i come from public school. You know, where all those greedy, union, govt leeches work?

Test flight of 707, Tex Johnson did a barrel roll. Scared the living snot out of everyone. Boeing was NOT happy.
Thanks, I'd still be trying to figure out what that avatar was if you had not told me.

I flew the 707 and heard about the roll but never saw anything about it.

They put them there and out west, we're more than happy to tighten the screw.

Be safe!!!

Where is "End of Alpa" BTW? Busy changing his name....again?

There you have it, proof of what I'm saying. That and toga's multi day drunk rank.

How about this, you all sign a binding agreement to call a time out. Then Management or the West decides that after signing it, they don't like it. That sure would suck wouldn't it? Don't ya hate when everyone agrees to something and then someone tries to back out? 😛

Clever and oh so helpful. Let me guess, you were in management at HP?

So, again I ask, are you still not ready to replace USAPA?

$400M works out to about $115K per east pilot which is like working for per diem only for a year (or more). I would say USAPA's liability insurance wouldn't cover illegal work actions, so the money to pay damages will come from the pilots themselves.

So the few that upgraded as a result of USAPA's integration blocking will see the addition left seat money vanish in damages, while those majority that saw no increased compensation will just have to dig deeper to pay up.

USAPA - watch what they (Cleary, Mowery, Theuer, and Kubic) do, not what they say. And NEVER do what they ask.

There was a television cameraman in the back when he did it - I've seen the footage and I think the avatar is a clip from it. Pretty awesome - probably the only time an airliner has been rolled intentionally.
Found a clip on utube about the famous roll:
Boeing 707 roll by Test Pilot Tex Johnson: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ra_khhzuFlE
Cheers.

Saw a documentary on this once, and the story goes after rolling the airplane with reporters on board(that is who took the picture in the avatar) at an airshow to showcase the new Boeing, the test pilot was called into the CEO of Boeing's office to explain himself. The boss asks, "what the hell were you doing"

Johnson's reply...."selling airplanes".

Proof of what?

I think I've made it more than clear that if I have a chance to screw an eastie in any way, including putting him on the street, I will do that.

So, you think I'm drunk when I post and I think your stupid when you post...

...works for me.

What exactly have you been saying? Did you theorize that West Pilots may not "be on board" with USAPA? You NEEDED PROOF?!

I see a bunch of you, including Kim Jong Cleary, were dumb enough to "friend" your illegal work action on Facebook. Brilliant!!!
