Yeah, like you said, you have a choice of company. If you don't want to be union, get hired at an airline that isn't represented. I'm know delta is hiring, they've damaged too many planes lately to not be.Uh, you don't have to accept a job from a company, you have the choice. But, the fact that you MUST join a union who is out there to "protect" you, while its leaders are rolling in your dough, is obscene. If your union was good, people would join on their own accord, you wouldn't need to pass a law requiring them to join and pay you. Extortion...that is NOT the American way. You have the right to choose a company. But you don't have the right to choose whether to belong to a union...are you against the idea of a democracy (or actually, a republic?) 🙄
My nephew had a crap job at a grocery store, the union goon threatened him with violence and keyed his car. He stood up to him and told him that intimidation and destruction was no way to to sell his point and that he wasn't gonna take any crap from them. They backed down... Since then, he joined the Navy, he gets promoted on his merit now. In theory unions sound good, but intimidating people is beyond unethical. Let people choose, what are the unions afraid of?
Funny you keep bringing up republic, seeing that they rule according to law. RLA = law. Why can't you understand it?
