Many in the east seem to be resting on the 10Q attached a small qtrly loss. Not very compelling imho. Must be another Hollerbach invention...you guys are missing the fine print though:

(B) Shared operating expenses
The operating expenses of AWA reflect expenses for certain services shared with US Airways. During the first six months of 2007, in anticipation of merging to a single operating certificate, operations of AWA and US Airways continued to be integrated, including the migration to a single reservation system in early March. During the second quarter and first six months of 2007, shared services included reservations, technology and data processing services and corporate functions such as tax, legal, compliance,

We are basically supporting you.

Since you are supporting us, then you will fully acknowledge that YOU screwed up the res migration?

Then why not have the b*lls, to admit Qik/Shares is a minor league computer system.

Bring back Sabre. Of course Chug-Alug Doug.....aka Dougweiser won't admit the tremendous error.

Thank the Lord for AWA. That Tempe brain trust sure does know how to run an airline! Truly a well oiled machine we got going here. Parker and Kirby and the rest are like Ginsu knives. No one as sharp as they are. Man, I sure wish they had made that Delta thing happen. The West would really have shown DAL how to run an operation too.

I sure hope we pesky, arrogant, East pilots accept that list soon. Man, when we get the two pilot groups together imagine the money we'll be making then. With the West's help in getting the East pilot group on track and showing us how to operate the jets the AWA way the profit will triple or more I bet. I can't wait.

In the general scheme of things, IT DOESN'T MATTER which side is supporting which. This thread seems designed only to start trouble-you are part of the problem not the solution.

AWA320..........You are becoming a cancer just like the rest of your airline. I think the East screwed themselves but now I hope they keep this friggin' disaster two seperate operations. Sooner or later people will see just what a piece of crap the West operation really is. Have a nice friggin day!

What a load of crap. You sound like you are personally proud that AWA is running the worst airline in the business. US Airways had her problems before AWA, but I can tell you that they are more ghetto now than they ever were in any bankruptcy, and this is all thanks to your AWA "support." Loyal customers stood by US through two bankruptcies and never started leaving until US Airways began to receive your "support." AWA is nothing more than a regional carrier with a management team of questionable education credentials and leadership experience. We can thank your "support" for causing the elite passengers to leave, for downgrading technology, for ruining the international product, for shoddy airplane reconfigurations, and for the worst paint scheme in the industry -- just to name a few. AWA's sole pre-merger competition was Southwest -- and maybe the AWA product was a little better than SWA, I don't know. But, Tempe needs to realize that US East's competition is primarily CO and UAL in the Northeast, and DAL in the South. Compare these products to what your "support" has provided to the US East -- your "support" is an embarrassment and, frankly, unwelcome.

Well hopefully you'll be leaving US to go help save another carrier soon

Well I personally didn't screw it up however it seems that shares is not working and that was a call by west management which is now east management so in short yeah we screwed it up...

Well lets think about this for a second shall we. Now your beloved USA320 posts an internal MEC communication where clearly Arnie Gentile states that only AAA made a profit and AWA had a loss however as usual with the eas MEC only half truths or outright lies are posted. Why do you say nothing about this yet have the nerve to cry flame post when I bring you the rest of that story????

Talk about biased!! Stop with you constant whinning Art and accept responsibility for your actions.

Oh absolutly not. I have to work here Coffee!! You see we on the west were running a pretty decent airline prior to being infected with the east diease!! Yeah I really wish we would have just let you parrish and picked off the pieces but they didn't so now we are stuck with you. All you fine people do is complain how you been here longer than Jesus and that everyone on the planet should feel sorry and give you the shirts off of their backs. The facts are clear, if AAA was such a gold mine then why were you broke???? If you had such a top notch operation then it defies logic that you were BK twice in 24months facing certain liquidation. people were leaving that sinking ship by the bus loades yet you claim that you were the crown jewel of the industry. That's laughable.

A yr ago we seem to be getting things together and the airline was on it's way to being a great airline. Then enter shares and it started to come apart. The labor woes started and now look at this place. Don't sit there on you high horse and blame the west for this as you too have blame. Now we can either find ways to fix it or we can do as you have been, complaining that it's the other carriers fault. Either way this BS of insulting one another and stating that my carrier is better than yours is not going to fix a thing. The east operation wasn't a prize and the sooner you realize that the better you will be...

You have no idea how much we wish that everyday that you could be some other arilines problem however it's just not likely. So I guess we are going to have to make the best of what we got...

So, the wastral roommate pays the internet bill for everyone, but costs more than he brings in.
