That should at least pay for your increased Flex Benefit Medical increases you suffered in Januray.

The TWU April report shows a current annual inflation rate of 4.5% which means you lost a mere 3.0% plus in buying power this year.

But Princess, never forget, the TWU "will get 'em next time".

I don't think a lot of people understand this. If you do not keep up with inflation you are year over year giving more and more consessions. Tack on another 3% for this year!!!!!!!!!!

Hey, I have been thinking about this twu thing here a little today. Once we have the twu kicked out and boxed up, I think we should bury it for say, 30 years, after that open it back up and see if anything is still moving. If there is, close it back up, wrap it up with speed tape and logging chains, then symbolically take it up in an airplane, open the cargo door and push it out, if it flies then maybe there is something to it, if not, then so be it!!! Why do you continue to bring up Northwest when your own members are not only laid-off but under the largest concessions in modern labor history?

The pilots just got a 9% raise on May 1st, or 7.5% more than us. Thats in addition to the $25 million that the company waived for the fine and the $23 million they just won in arbitration.

The Pilots already got back more than we will this entire contract.

Arent the Pilots in a "stand alone", "unafilliated craft union"? Do you think they wish they had the TWU, with all their AFL-CIO clout representing them so they could have gotten a 1and a half percent increase instead of 9%?

Rings like the 95 TWU "Me Too" clause. Once again the TWU comes up short.
The TWU must go.
