I always love the endless whining from other airline executives. This must be the most self-serving industry on corporate planet Earth. Grinstein whines about United's ability to restructure in bankruptcy and how it's taking so long. So what? United is only doing what they SHOULD be doing. They're taking advance of existing law. There is no timetable with which to do so. If Grinstein and others want to complain, let them dial up their endless stream of special interest advocates to lobby for bankruptcy law reform. Otherwise, in my view, they should shut up and worry about getting their own house in order. In case Grinstein hasn't figured it out yet, he'll be doing the EXACT same things United's been doing when Delta files for Chapter 11 by year's end.
