Twinkees Dead, Union Charged with Ho-Homicide..

That kid in N Carolina was the first. Its happened around the states but gets real bad publicity. Regarding NC, they stated that home brought food is required to meet USDA food requirements and NC state law goes along with that. Being they see it that way I'd bet many other states do too.
This BS of inspecting a kids lunch, I don't care if its all Twinkies.....they are going too far.

And it is big government steeping over the line.
They know better.
The only one I saw was that one school in Chicago.

I agree with you on lunch inspections for food type. Guns maybe...

On guns....you notice six hours after Obama won the reelection, US signed off on the UN gun treaty?

Interesting....

Can I size you for a tinfoil hat?

He had his alarm set just to piss you off. What ever happened to serialized ammo you said was going to happen right after his first win?

Maybe time for a new thread. Just call it the conspiracy thread. You can post all the ones that have come true and we will post the ones that have been farts in the wind.

Serializing the ammo is a costly task. Legislation is already written as far back as 2009 and has been introduced in several states.
I saw something regarding the UN gun treaty and they mentioned Fienstien making some moves again and serialization may pop up once more.

Run goog on serialized ammo.

We know all of that! <yawn> SO WHAT? This is how it works. Did you vote for real change with Ron Paul or do you still support the one party Obamney system? If you didn't vote Ron Paul don't come crying now.

The biggest reason the USPS cannot compete is that they are not designed to compete. They have to deliver to all postal codes regardless of profitability. They do so 6 days a week. Go to Fed ex or UPS and mail a letter to where ever. Let me know how much they charge you.
...And I say you have no idea what you're talking about. Remind us all again which party pushed through needless legislation requiring the USPS to prefund it's pension (not "health") benefits for the next 75 years. Then, let us know how profitable they actually might've been without that anchor around their necks. Kthx.

Want to make USPS profitable? Dump the union and privatize !
Clueless as charged.

1) It is always the companies fault. They run the ...um... Company.

2) yes I do. I am one and voted with my feet for a better career.

3) No, they would not.

4) More the reason to justify that the company did not keep up with the times. Blame the union on loss of market share and poor product improvement? No.

5) Please crack a book or take a commi

1)Union rhetoric !

2) Your prerogative, company didn't blink! And again, my sympathy goes to the people that didn't belong to "THE" union and lost jobs because of said strike !

3) My bad ! S.C. is a right to work state, where you are not "FORCED" to join a union, in order to obtain work. When does Boeing's start to build hangers, in S.C. ?

4) Please refer to 1 !

5) Doesn't take a book or 4 year degree, to see the problems with the USPS !

Not necessary. Were it not for the onerous pension funding requirements, the USPS would've been quite profitable, actually.

5) Doesn't take a book or 4 year degree, to see the problems with the USPS !

No it doesn't; it takes the ability to separate actual information from RW talking points- something you're apparently unwilling/unable to do.

I refuse to receive or pay bills via the internet. I like my mailman and the idea that someone has to open an envelope and process my pAyment.

Plus, when my father passed away in february, i had to use his address book to notify family in other countries. They all told me they had moved or the address was incorrect which is why they responded late. But they did receive the letter. The internet cant provide the reliabilty of getting the mail through.

In fact, the govt cant read everone's snail mail. A case where low tech trumps high tech and the right to privacy prevails.

And while your letter is routed through the hands of the federal gov't and you think they can't or don't read your mail?
They sure as hell do for anyone they want to..........
Ever notice your zip? 12345-1234?? Nails your mail to the route........all they have to do is segregate that route and they can read all your mail all day long if they want to.

Soon you won't have the ability to pay via envelope....internet only soon.

Sure they can but not easily or accurately. My guess is if they wanted to read everyones mail, the readers will be of the TSA'ss caliber. No worries.

I can mail from any mailbox to any address. Pretty hard to find a letter if i dont want it to be found. Internet only? Wont happen.
