Please provide a detailed and specific explanation of how you come to this conclusion. I would be highly interested in debating this with you, but would like to hear reasons why you think this, instead of just the same rhetoric spewed by many. Let's talk details and specifics.

We still have THREE agreements (counting Air Mic) Where would you suggest this one list you want so bad be placed? There can not be a combined list until there is a combined agreement. Beyond that, from what I understand there are still a couple of matters to be settled that do need a tentative agreement. Our premium seniority for Leads and Inspectors is one, and the adjustment for furlough and other time off at CO is another. UA was not adjusted and CO was under the separate agreements. If CO regains the company time, will they also gain vacation time based on this? Will this affect the overall financial package as it does come at a cost in the eyes of the company? How does the company propose to deal with these issues? There are some other questions that remain opened that must be solved through negotiations before the list can be finalized. Don't you read any of the updates at all? If you did you would not be asking such foolish questions. At least do a little bit of thinking before you post something stupid.

Your excuses for a 3+ year delay are just more typical teamster BS. You yourself have stated consent decree will govern, well guess what slick, the company cannot prevent that at sCAL even if they wanted to, as they are bound by consent decree same as the union is. None of your smoke screen excuses rises to level of a 3+ year delay.

Again, you do not need a JCBA to construct a seniority list, you only need a JCBA to implement one.

Neither TWU nor IAM have made advancements for their members. The two unions outside the AFL-CIO you mentioned have increased benefits for their members. One should wonder about your integrity and that of your statement? Are you at all capable of a factual post?

Both airlines you referenced are making more than IAM represented employees.

And your solution? The way I see it the RAIDS as you call them cannot happen without disgruntled members. So where do those come from? I AM NOT AMFA, I AM NOT IBT, But I have signed cards. Do you claim those unions abducted me and brainwashed me into being unsatisified with the TWU? You just cannot grasp the concept of union choice and membership rule. If any Union were succeeding in this industry, we would all be members of that one, but none of the Unions are succeeding. So your answer must be stay status quo and blame someone or something else because we are hammered by unfavorable laws and worthless union agendas. If anything, blame the AFL-CIO for failing to get laws changed, and keeping no-raid clauses in the industry that keep a worthless union in place. You are working in a deregulated competetive industry, and despise union competition and majority rule membership outcomes. You must be one of those stooges that believes you need to save us all from ourselves by eliminating choice and democracy. What if your Government did the same, you would protest or celebrate?

My wife has an uncle and cousin who both worked for NW. Her uncle retired and her cousin lost his job. Both of them would sign another AMFA card in a heartbeat. I also have two friends who are line mechanics at United and both prefer AMFA over the Teamsters. There are four people that I know (and trust they won't lie to me) who disagree with you. As far as the NW guys they have no reason to lie to me. You probably do.
