Clt or Pit has the mechanics that can fix it. It would be up to the company to let us. We can fix anything. M&E, heavy maitainance has taken on many huge repairs. Its no biggie.Now that 443 has ferried back to CLT for additional inspections and repairs, can anyone shed some light on the extent of the damage? Besides replacing the nose gear and the right engine, it looked like there might be some structural damage as well. Heard some talk among mechanics and pilots that the plane landed nose first. Properly configured, that is a hard thing to do. I don't want to spread unsubstantiated information here, but it wouldn't surprise me if this bird makes one more flight to Mohave.
