Yes many of us who were on the bangwagon are falling off daily. Not one at a time either. Collectively think of EVERYTHING going on with US Airways and WHAT in the world is going good? I do know how to seperate myself from the craziness of work but truly, what good is going on? A few new cities to Europe with half a$$ed service on old planes or a cramped 330? Nothing good is going on for ANY work group. Sorry if I seem crabby or not so upbeat today but reality took a bite out of me during my trip. Things are bad folks. Get ready for displacements too. Yeah, things are great. Grrrrrreaaaat. Now if only I could find a new pair of shoes for work that won't kill me. Square toes for guys is out now. Hmmmm where will I go.
Oh you read that issue of Details, too? I was so upset; I had to work the rest of my 3 day barefoot.......

YES! ! ! Thats the article. Can you believe it? Here I am parading around in my cruisers thinking I'm the shiznit and BAM.....I'm in search of new shoes. I have been searching high and low. Hmmm I wonder if I can get some from the company store. I'll be right back.
Y'all know that the cities pay for the advertising, right? Seems like you're upset that New York, Miami, Boston, etc. decided to spend their ad dollars somewhere else.
Who cares what they advertise in the magazine, as long as they make enough in ad sales to offset production costs (not sure if they do, but that should be the goal).

Wanna save some money Tempe? How much does each magazine weigh? How many are on the airplane in the seatback pockets and in the overhead bins? You'll get your A321 to the west coast without that fuel stop if you simply take out the meaningless Usairways magazine. It's only used to keep folks occupied on one of our delays or a place to stick your gum when nobody is looking.
I agree with You on this one.....as long as the advertiser is bringing in revenue, I couldn't care less. There was an ad from the Greece National Tourist Authority (which coincides with the upcoming service to Athens) and it would be nice to see ads for Zurich and Brussels but obviously they didn't find the support. I used to work in advertising and IT is a very competitive, dog eat dog business......Company's only have so much money in their budget to allocate, be glad the Vegas establishments choose to spend it on US! LAS is the playground of America....whether you gamble or not, Everyone wants/needs to see it (and they usually will in their lifetime).
But . . . How can that be? USA320pilot was on here before babbling about how USAirways was about to start all of these deep S.Am. routes (Brazil, Argentina, etc.) out of this "focus city."

Does anyone remember US Airways Attache magazine highlighting the wonderful virtues of Alabama?-nothing personal against Alabama itself or its people. The east can get a bit unnerved when it is not the center of the universe at all times. Money talks.
Who knew????Is that because PHX and LAS are the centers of the universe? Thank God for the Colorado River, or our universe centers would be in deep doo doo.
