Well not exactly. There are penalties for not living up to contracts. You can't just "walk away." It's called the RLA. Management, through their own incompetence and greed, can get a judge to abrogate the contract, but the other parties have legal recourse as well . . . . the end result of which will be liquidation. When U is shutdown by the courts, the blame will rest squarely on the heads of Siegel, Lakefield, Bronner. and the rest of the executives and BODs. They were in command. It's THEIR FAULT.
