Is this the off the street hiring they were talking about? I know AWA when they hire from within, they get to use their seniority from whatever place within the company they came from..is this true and how does it work? Do they get paid for their longevity? Like if they were a gate agent for 10 years in PHX and now want to be a f/a, will they get to bring over 10 year pay? Anyone over on the West side know?

No they are not bringing anything over. They are considered "New Hired from the street". That is one of the major contention, (that we who work as a gate agent lost everything) hard to swallow  .

What about non-rev time? Do you keep your original hire date for non-reving?
