Looks like Cleary got his rear handed to him by Parker and a well spoken US captain at the CLT crew news (followed by a round of applause from the audience). Ouch USAPA.

Well, I guess it's all in perspective. I certainly would not characterize the exchange as Cleary getting his rear handed to him by Parker. I think Parker did well in holding his ground, though. And Parker has been consistent with his message about parity.

The other captain had some good points, as most Boy Scouts do. I was waiting to hear the "round of applause from the audience" though. It sounded to me like maybe 10% of the pilots in that room gave somewhat of a very halting clap or three. I don't think Cleary presented himself as well as he should have; the other captain was a kiss-*** embarrassment.

the other captain was a kiss-*** embarrassment.

Cleary was the embarrassment. If this is an indication of USAPA's abilities they are in a lot of trouble.

Everything that captain said is true. The mindless USAPA sheep can't handle the truth.

Here's a question for all you USAPA members:

When Parker says that all you will be getting with a new contract is parity plus a "little more", well i'm in the little more crowd and it makes me sick. How does it make you feel the AWA pilots are having to pay for a group that is trying to screw us from all sides. Why would we want to join a union that is trying to negate a binding award from a federal mediator. Is it ok with you guys that claim usapa is for all US pilots when the west has to pay for YOUR raise. I don't wanna hear the join and change things BS either  .It's about time you guys got real and take out the DOH thing your not going to get anyway so everybody can get onboard and change things around here. We followed all the rules jumped through all the hoops and when you guys didn't like the outcome you took your ball and went home. USAPA is not for all US pilots at this time, I sure hope that it will be someday.

OK OK.

BoeingBoy Jim was the closest on this one. Everyone else needs a little hint.

So....give with the "hint" already. No one was talking about your sons here.

BoeingBoy: "Well..they smell about the same" = Agreed.

NLC: "Some folks just can't seem to get their bombs on target." Zero questions there.......

How did you miss the hint? Or the hint within a hint? Or maybe both went over your head so you selectively ignored them....

Jim

Nice try BB...the BS gets deeper here by the moment..a seemingly impossible feat, but here we are. So...with the "modesty" inherent in having saved 100's of troops on the ground on multiple occasions...this "person" still can't comfortably specify the ship or even the conflict...which leaves us with VNam as the only possible "suspect". Let me see = finished in 1974 after 2+ years of troop withdrawals. Why don't you do the math on that one and get back to us as to percentile likelihood. Additionally; what was the utility in noting, after it was observed that Kittyhawk wasn't much involved with later conflicts, (but WAS a major player in VNam)...that the poster had been on some other, nameless ships? Believe whatever you want. I ain't buying this crap.

I guess you haven't been reading your own lawyers' take on the "binding" part of your case...maybe you should. Maybe your MEC should have handled Wye River a little differently, ALPA would still be on property and we'd be done with this by now...

If the question is "why don't you drop DOH?"..

Answer, because...ALL other union groups adhere to it, only ALPA has lost it's way, we can fix that.

As far as "in the a little more crowd..." be glad you're in that crowd going forward. As Parker made clear, with "parity costing $120M" and expecting $1B in losses....you ain't getting anything above your AWA contract you guys keep bragging about.

And to clarify, the "leisure markets" are HARDLY paying for the East...quite the opposite...ask Parker.
