Well, it's obvious to me that NLC and a few other's just want to argue against anything East or USAPA ...period. And unfortunately, too much arguing seems to have placed him into a tight little corner on his stories...

funny.

OMG, how embarrassing. You are correct, sir. Kitty Hawk was a non participant. Perhaps our erstwhile Naval Aviator, who somehow has failed to master even the most basic performance data concepts, was referring to a video game. There I was, the last hope of "hundreds" of pinned down infantry, side by side with my "compadres" as we blasted the crack Iraqi assault troops and returned to the Kitty Hawk on fumes.

Not intending to slight anyone's national service, but I believe that the only decoration the lad would have earned on the Kitty Hawk during Desert Storm is the always coveted Philadelphia Naval Shipyard Expeditionary Medal.

Very good, east and dc. Well, almost very good. You two guys were really jumping for a couple minutes there, eh? Yep - jumping to conclusions.

But what makes you think I made all my cruises on one ship?

Did you make all your "junior service" landings on the same, two mile long runway?

Thimk, people, thimk.....there's more than one fantail floating around out there in the deep blue sea.

"Thimk people thimk"? OK. I'll try to thimk a bit more on this.

"But what makes you think I made all my cruises on one ship? " Call it a hunch, since you referenced one specifically, and no others.

I'll stick with "When did you find time to go to any war" and "WTF war WAS this?" I doubt that referencing a given conflict puts you at issue for ID concerns.....although, I'd suspect that you'll need time to do some historical research prior to any replies....Sorry, but the BS Flag's flying pretty high at the moment.

INTEGRITY MATTERS...Sure does.

Just because you're the poster king around here, you think you have a right to interrogate others?

Geeze, I'm beginning to understand how politicians feel when being pestered by nosey reporters - a lot of whom ask "leading" questions. Looking for a scoop. Looking for the headline.

Well, OK, here's a headline for you:

USAPA SUX GAS FROM PARKER'S (rhymes with gas)!!!!

OK = All doubt removed. You're full of it. NLC: "but there were times when hundreds of troops on the ground maybe didn't get killed because myself.."..My arse.

INTEGRITY MATTERS...How tha' hell would you know? Disgusting.

Captain America,
You seem a little agitated. Is reality bothering you again?

Is reality bothering you again?

Let me know the very first moment that any of you out there come into any contact with it. "Reality!!??..Whatta' Concept!!"

Come on Prechilled...even you must find it strange that having been engaged where "but there were times when hundreds of troops on the ground maybe didn't get killed because myself.."...that this "person" can't even note the conflict such supposedly happened in? Spare me. Martial modesty's clearly no problem with that poster...having stated "there were times when hundreds of troops on the ground maybe didn't get killed because myself..."..but..he's suddenly shy over noting where/when all this supposedly even happened?..Sure.

Oops..I almost forgot..."INTEGRITY MATTERS" 😉 Spare me yet again.

Not full of it, friend. I just know when and where to stop. You, OTOH, do not.

Your compulsions are showing again........

I'm heading now out for a nice relaxing day on the river. Don't get a sore back all hunched up over that computer now. And let me know if carpal begins to creep in......I know a terrific micro surgeon.

EastUS

Not that it matters....USS Kitty Hawk was deployed to Somalia Summer of 1992, Operation Restore Hope. 27 December 1992, Kitty Hawk sent to the Persian Gulf where they led a joint coalition against Iraq for violations of UN sanctions.

You take it from here.

I couldn't remember if that was 91 or 92. In any case = Understood...and that wouldn't have been a tough and immediate answer for anyone that was there. The 90's coalition actions certainly didn't involve saving troops on the ground in Iraq. This poster side-stepped Somalia by noting multiple (but not named) ships, indicating that the supposed combat flying wasn't with Kittyhawk. In any case: I just can't figure out anyone posting themselves in such an heroic light..and then immediately sidestepping off into adolescent "Nyaah Nyaahs", rather than simply, proudly and properly noting their service in any given theater of ops. It makes no sense. NLC: "Well, OK, here's a headline for you: USAPA SUX GAS FROM PARKER'S (rhymes with gas)!!!!" doesn't quite cover the questions asked by posters..and seems a bit "odd" for one with such purported experiences in any case 😉

I suppose that all of this has nothing to do with any labor issues anyway..other than those involving the credibility of some posters, and enough bandwidth's been taken up......

The pendulum was invented as an attempt to produce an object that could be placed into perpetual motion. Little did they know they simply had to wait for the pilot labor thread on USAviation. 😀
