What's new

US Scareways

I just don't know where I'd go.

OMG, you are evidence that Tempe has it head in the sand. YOU are selling vacations and you have no idea where to go????? You've been NOWHERE and YOU are selling people vacations?

What do you say, Uh, yes, sir, well, the brochure looks pretty...so I'm sure it is nice. Oh, and I hear the beach has sand just like in PHX.

I've heard it all now.

This is off on a tangent, but it makes me think of my niece who is majoring in psychology because she wants to become a sex therapist/counselor. She's a virgin! I almost peed myself when she told us that at Christmas.

Listen, if you are selling these nice vacations you really do need to know a little about them. Check a few things out & do it.
Okay, that was off base. I want to go to Hawaii, etc.

I was supposed to go to Bermuda last September but the hurricane there ruined our plans and for some reason, management scrapped Fam trips the rest of that year.

There are tons coming up this year I hear, so I should be able to travel there on business.

And to the person who said I read the brochure key, that's not true! I research and talk to vendors who come and soak it up like a sponge! Nothing can compare to being there, I know.

Why do you work for an airline? You do realize the people in compensation factor in a value for your flight benefits and then reduce your opening salary by at least that much. I'd hazard to guess it's probably 20-25%.

Unless you don't care about the money - many don't and I respect that.

Um, I would said I was a virgin if anyone had asked me at Christmas dinner when I was a teenager too!

NO NO, it has nothing to do with US Airways. I registered about 9 days after I started working here. My fault I don't use my benefits, not my company's. Don't blame them for my doing.
