USAIRWAYS managment position on workers

I happed to see the letter and to me it I thought it funny a so called "manager" would even put the words in print. You can think them all you like but to speak or put them into print not such a good career advancement move, just ask Imus!!! Those in charge of that particular department may not care but HR?

This whole thread is based on hearsay....show me the money or drop the subject.

It's not hearsay, It's been posted on the line manit. breakroom wall in Phl for about 3 days now. If this were any other company in the world Brewwer would have been fired by now

I'll bet the folks who really did the heavy lifting for organized labor in this country never let names bother them, they were too busy accomplishing something.

Feelings, oh, oh, oh, feelings....

Ya,well they had the option to take em out back and pound the crap out of em then too.Things used to get settled in the parking lot or behind the hanger, but no more.

Not anymore it isn't!!

I have the "Clarification" Memo too. Want to see that?

We don't serve no Parker Punch here fella!!!

Heres what they called the workers.
slug2 synonyms
noun

Informal. A self-indulgent person who spends time avoiding work or other useful activity: bum1, drone1, fainéant, good-for-nothing, idler, layabout, loafer, ne'er-do-well, no-good, slugabed, sluggard, wastrel. Informal: do-little, do-nothing, lazybones. Slang: slouch. See industrious

   I can hardly wait for the t/shirts to some out...

Only thing that might save him was the memo was not signed, unless there was more than on page. His excuse will be anybody could have written it using the Co letterhead. Seriously doubt it though because of some of the other info contained in the memo.

Definite lawsuit.

T-shirt is a great idea ! I can't believe this guy would put this out on an agenda for all to see. Is he still working with us ?

The word must be used often with this management team. I do hope they will "coach, councel and FIRE this "slug".

I think the Bugs and the Slugs need to get together and have a good old-fashioned garden party before Pest Control comes in and eliminates us all.

Listen Jackass all you have to do to know that this kind of conduct is wrong is to think how Sherri Shamblin would react if Scott Kirby called her a slug in an internal memo.

If it feels wrong at 200+K a year it's wrong at 30K a year.

You are exactly right!

Seems like the Name Callers have retired from this thread

Wonder why?

Hmmm, that's funny, coming from someone who said:

But apparently it is all right to do at your salary, which is presumably somewhere between $30K and $200K/yr.?

I'm confused. In the PineyBob world, is it OK to call people insulting names, or not?

Seems like you want it both ways.
