What's new

Voted IN

This is truly a sad day for our profession. I am proud of my NO vote!

No reason to be sorry for being an AMT Wrencher. What is sorry and unexcusable are the 2,002 M&R persons that did not find this worthy of their time to cast a ballot. The numbers I posted earlier came from our local here at AFW.

How many of those 2,000 plus votes were cast but ended up being voided or not counted? We will never get closure on that one. 48 votes was enough for the TWU to claim victory. How dare we ask for a review of all votes casted.

I'm in agreement 1AA. I'm proud of my "NO" vote and will have to live with the consequences of the "YES" vote. Good Bye Base Closure and Weekends. Hello Tuesdays and Wednesdays on the Line somewhere (hopefully) if not " hi you doing government tit".

We should have separated overhaul from the line and had a separate vote. This needs to be done with the new union thats going to get voted in. But we are stuck with this for 6 years and some of us will be retired or dead by then........What a pyle of dog crap. Oops... thats my name 😀

Either we spend the next six years talking about what happened today or we begin the process of seeking new union representation.

I opt for the latter.

well cant blame mci for this one. why would anybody vote for something the company was pushing you to vote for. when if voted down the company could do what ever they wanted, hmmm makes you wonder.

That won't happen. That too will fail by 48 votes.

Probably not since tul is in denial but now they are going to share the pain like the rest of us have had to! If we don't vote them out now we never will

Well we is You and me. Start getting cards signed. If you did then get more.
I'm on a mission here. Me first (Life and health) My profession is next and cards I will push for on top of the ones my fellow amt's have already signed. The next six years is going to be a challenge but we can turn it around if we dump the TWU.
Tulsa need not be worried. Place will be shrinking as soon as the new aircraft arrive and the old are gone.

You think the #### tards that voted yes, or the spineless fuckwads that didn't even bother to pick up the phone, on such a no-brainer vote, are going to have the motivation to vote in a new union? Good luck with that....

eoleson and amt66. Abstention: why would someone withold their vote like that? Your making a decision not to "act" when all that is required is a simple yes or no on something so important. That is just the cowards way of saying "Let me just sit back and see what everyone else does". 2,002 people from M&R chose not vote, whether it be they screwed up the phone call or screwed up the computer process or simply chose not to vote at all, what ever way 2,002 people did not vote. Some people may say those votes were manipulated by the International. Who Knows!! It is BULL DOOKIE and SHAMELESS that 2,002 did not vote and abstention is another way of saying "I choose not to vote",

I'm proud of my "NO" vote and have no regrets of how I voted at least I voted and so did 9,074 other members. God Bless Them.

I agree its time for a change. AMFA is my choice for the change. My question is: With the reduction in force that is coming will all the cards that have been signed will those cards still be valid or will we have to start all over again with the card drive? Thanks in advance for your help.
