What's new

Voted IN

I agree its time for a change. AMFA is my choice for the change. My question is: With the reduction in force that is coming will all the cards that have been signed will those cards still be valid or will we have to start all over again with the card drive? Thanks in advance for your help.
PM me.

Better check that math. My calculator says that the sum of 4,776 and 4,728 equals 9,504, not the 9,074 your post shows.

You have to be kidding, the same divide that made this pass by only 48 votes will keep the TWU from ever being removed, half want AMFA & half want Teamsters & some want the TWU & most people won't fight for either only a handful like Raptorman or oldguy , my bet says we will keep the TWU there's a reason they have been here for over 50 YEARS !!
APATHY & Lazy people who just want to #### but not spend every lunch & every break soliciting cards.

Sadly, this is true.....A new union vote would probably reflect this vote outcome.

You think the #### tards that voted yes, or the spineless fuckwads that didn't even bother to pick up the phone, on such a no-brainer vote, are going to have the motivation to vote in a new union? Good luck with that....

It's all we have for the next six years....Might as well give it our best shot.

Look how fast the break downs were posted on the pilot vote.

1/2 percent? I would like to see the numbers especially the ones that did not vote.

Does this mean I get my share and company match of my pre funding back?

To those who voted, thank you.

What seems strange to me is we arent getting the actual numbers like we have in the past, nor did we get a breakdown of the whole vote.

Time to enter a new phase of the struggle.

Hmmm Apathy at the line too hugh ?, a 100 of your members didn't even vote, those 100 could have made a huge difference. ;-) the struggle is over now Bob all we can do now is deal with the changes that were going to come no matter what.

WTF

You know it was Tulsa, it's always Tulsa that's where the most heads are & with the low cost of living a lot of people in Tulsa are retiring with this early out, can't say I blame them I wish I could leave too.

Stop bashing Tulsa we didn't all vote yes! Some of us are smarter than that.
The sad truth is that Tulsa carried this vote. There weren't enough of us who voted no. 514 was successful in their plan to spread fear and misinformation. Now the officers will probably get appointed to international positions. Payback for the biggest sellout of all time. Wait till you find out how many voted yes for the buyout and then realize they can't afford to take it and retire. More than 48 I'll bet. No wonder people make fun of Oklahoma. I know, I know, I am whining, but we just screwed the entire industry. AA is just waiting to get us again in 10 years. Yeah, I said 10 years.

History repeats itself! ----- It's been nine years since pre2003 wages, now six (min.) more. More like at least nine more. That's Min. fifteen years, just to break even! That's if all goes well! And in the mean time, the world is passing you all by!!! TWA went trough the same thing, and look where it got us!!!
