West Coast Techs to vote out IAM

Heard through the grapevine that some people are putting together a petition to oust the IAM. Not sure from where / what city. Anyone heard different?

A petition?

Doesnt work that way.

A petition will do nothing, it has to be a raid with a union wanting to raid the IAM and cards enough Authorization cards gathered to force a vote, which does not ensure a change in represenation.

It could be a new union, the current union or end up with no union at all.

West and East are one bargaining unit under the NMB and RLA, it was tried before and failed.

What is with all these rumor threads?

It was just what I heard. It may or maynot hold water (I know what it could hold)! :blink:

Face it, the IAM has done nothing for US.
