Nothing new has been filed this morning...or this afternoon. At least that's shown up in the site that has the filing on the court docket. It is Saturday ya know.

And I am not saying ignore, I am sure it will be a petition, as everything has to be in court.

The UCC can't just "accept" an offer that was preferable." Plus, since no party except AA can present a POR during the period of exclusivity and an "offer that was preferable" would have to be a plan for AA's exit from bankruptcy since after AA exits bankruptcy the UCC has no say in anything, how would "an offer that was preferable" be presented to the UCC?

At this point its a rumor since I have no proof, this Tuesday American will announce US Air is buying them.

I'm not sure how to take this, but two days to wait is not long. It would not surprise me as every major announcement during my career at American has been on my day off. I have Tuesday off.

You notice I said saving union DUES, not JOBS?

The unions are willing to believe LCC that "everything will be good if you support us in a takeover/merger attempt..
Then our unions down the road will be fighting like cats and dogs wih LCC about how they were lied to...

The unions are like Leonardo Dicaprio hanging on to the piece of wood in the freezing north Atlantic while Kate Winslet had the whole piece to herself!

With all of the FEAR and WORRY that is evident on this forum, it is obviuos that Eckhart Tolle is correct when he talks about how the mind rules the average persons body and controls that body.

Everyone here could use a big dose of the "Power of Now" for some inner peace.

The only problem with that is that AA can't announce anything. The BK rocess doesn't work like that.

Had you said, LCC is announcing its offer to buy AA, then OK. That IS coming. How soon? Time will tell.

It is isn't it? Last night I watched Money Ball for the first time. Why is it I feel like I have been shot in the chest numerous times and it will be a slow death. I told my daughters if I ever get to the point I can't take care of my self, just shoot me. Preferably one to the head, nice and quick!
