I saw the numbers today. Looks like LIT is closing. DFW is getting hit with 200 FT, and 105 PT, plus Crew Chiefs. The list was pretty long, with many cities being affected. I''ll post more numbers later.
Bagmasher Jan 18, 218 FSCs out on the street here in DFW.
As far as CCs, there were 29 reduced to FSC that in turn bumped some full timer to part time and some pt out the door. Funny thing though, the lay-off is effective on Jan 18th the bid is effective along with the new sched on FEB.
So it looks like OT heaven for those who want it.
Even yesterday they were holding 6 hrs OT. Many days they exhaust the list of holdover volunteers. Get this one Dec 25th and Jan 1st there were 6hr holdovers. There is also some 2nd day off call in.
Seems like they are trying to spend their way into BK.
Continue to lAAy-off more emp to solve the OT problem Doesn't make sense to me.

What are "CC"s? I am sorry I am not familiar with all airline lingo and codes. I appreciate your help. Thanks in advance.

A lot of the guys at DFW who are getting cut said that LGA and MIA were the only cities on their bump sheets with fulltime openings. Not sure about JFK or EWR.
Bags: One correction, RNO is laying off 3 PT (I am one of them). But it was either now or later this year when they are suppose to close down the station (July 1).
