Wrong again liar, and you been shown the truth and the facts over and over and over.737823 said:The IAM is the one that screwed them out of the seniority. I agree they won't get it back but still.

Because he's not that stupid, and he wouldn't care enough to even play such a masquerade. If I were a betting man... Pluto comes from the same mold as our friendly all knowing financial officer that spends hour after hour in a blue collar forum doing exactly as you suggest, DIVIDING!ograc said:roa,
How can you assure it is not him? Regardless of who is behind the "Pluto" posts; they are not the least bit interested in solidarity. Their only agenda is to divide the membership. A candidate for "friendly fire" if ever identified.Whoever "Pluto" is I would ask they cease and desist the divisive and counter productive posts for the future betterment of the membership.
700... you wouldn't happen to know any financial officers that repeatedly post in this forum would you?700UW said:Wrong again liar, and you been shown the truth and the facts over and over and over.
All the IAM groups went to arbitration, the APFA pulled the agreement and stapled the former TWAers and the IAM spent over $5 million fighting for their seniority.
Dont let the facts get in your way.

Suggesting that we give billions to Ukraine, over the next few weeks, to become a favored trading partner is difficult for me to comprehend since things aren't so peachy at home.
I think all negotiations have fallen apart. I was surprised that the sAA TWU didn't try to put some language in that MOU to protect its members prior to joint talks. At any rate, this is the 11th hour so something is going to give soon.WeAAsles said:Gentleman I know that you have many issues facing you at the moment such as the elections and your fight against the company for a fair contract but I would like to ask if there has been any further movement in regards to getting members on layoff back to their respective stations? It was my understanding that that was one of the issues that was supposed to be addressed with the association?
We have members possibly on both sides that are waiting and even with all of our other distractions they shouldn't be forgotten about or made to wait much longer. An offer of some regard on their return should be made an absolute priority as a measure of good will to see the benefits this association will have for all of us when we go to vote on it.....
I'm sorry Tim but at least at this moment you are not someone who is in an official capacity to be able to answer this question. These members again possibly on both sides are our fellow Union Brothers and sisters, our co-workers and to some also our friends. They deserve consideration and they deserve an official response.Tim Nelson said:I think all negotiations have fallen apart. Have you asked your own union? How has the TWU responded? Why didn't the TWU allow a vote and address this with the MOU? Maybe instead of juicing up the wage, you guys could have focused on your scope a bit better. Sure, you don't have to worry since you are in MIA, but cleansing dozens of stations just wasn't right for the money grab. I heard 4,000 rampers got whacked in that grab. I know bankrupt negotiations are terrible but giving up all of that work while promising pay raises for those in the hubs was divisive and destructive. Just saying.WeAAsles said:I'm sorry Tim but at least at this moment you are not someone who is in an official capacity to be able to answer this question. Tim before you make assumptions maybe you should ask for clarity if you want to be in a leadership position?Tim Nelson said:Have you asked your own union? How has the TWU responded? That's why I asked for clarity by saying what has the TWU said regarding the issues you want to see addressed? I thought it was actually a pretty fair question and I asked it because we are all equally interested in what the TWU has been saying.WeAAsles said:Tim before you make assumptions maybe you should ask for clarity if you want to be in a leadership position?
Before the Pilot group were able to get there conscessions down from 20% to 17% and our raises were made possible with that 3% "Me Too" clause, we were about to take a 43 cent per hour pay cut. Our negotiators DID request deeper cuts to save those Stations and SCOPE but the company held firm in saying NO. They wanted the stations and the SCOPE change and just as your group knows all too well in a Bankruptcy scenario it's the company that holds the gun with all chambers loaded.
And even if that wasn't the case you have to be concerned with how the membership will vote as again they are the ultimate deciders. Would a majority of the members be willing to take a substantial cut to retain those stations and could ANY leaders be able to explain to them that they should and the importance of that? You and I would have but I saw members on social media pages up in arms just for the lousy 43 cents. And that's a fact.
What was done during the bankruptcy now is irrelevant to the association and the question I am asking. I'm safely positioned here where I want to be in MIA. But these other people are not and they are suffering because of it.
Boy o Boy have we been down this road before. It will take hiring by US as a contractor to get back to the station first of all ,(with the layed off employees getting preference ) , and then at integration the seniority issue is resolved with a TA. That's this companies MO.WeAAsles said:I'm sorry Tim but at least at this moment you are not someone who is in an official capacity to be able to answer this question.
