I would love those in the TN camp ( the members ) to come on here and tell us why TN would never cross over.  Josh / Rockit / other people / Iam member ?..That would be a lot of trust on your part to believe otherwise with all the information that is being tossed about !

AH you can pipe in also if you want !
Mike,
I am not necessarily in the camp, I'm just tired of paying dues and not getting service. EX; No station visits, years to process grievence's, lack of information. I think the agc's get complacent and just blow off the membership. I don't believe the three that are up for re-election are worthy. Everyone keeps saying , " they have no experience ". The ones that went in had no experience when they got there either, they learned , they went to seminars at Wipinsinger in MD. Nelson could be a good thing, he goes against the grain and I don't believe he would be a yes man with Delaney, he's not afraid to put out the scoop. I've worked with three of the five agc's and know them. I know several members of the NC. I firmly believe Change is good it stimulates the process of going forward not staying in the same old rut.

Mike, I will also say this,
If it is in fact a two tier raise to get to AA pay and Nelson is right about it. It shows he does have connections. No one In my station will vote for the TA if we dont get AA wages at the date of signing, not Sept of 15. Also I've heard the NC sit's around reading this forum while at negotiations and I find that very humorous!

While I admit that I don't know much about usairways, it appears on this forum that the change supporters are the most knowledgeable and forthright.  Also it looks like the 141falling team, and their 4 or 5 regular posters,  are scrambling and instead of answering easy questions, they revert to hating on Tim.  This suggest to me that most of the usairways members are tired of being lied to by Delaney and his team. If so then change will be a clean sweep everywhere.  Speaking for Chicago I'd have to say that most of us are actually excited this time to go vote and it's going to be very brutal on 141falling.

Maybe instead of being bitter about losing their place in the kiss ass line and hating on Tim, maybe they should have done a good job and not taken the members for granted.  They will have themselves to blame when this is done, and my hope is that Tim and the whole U4C team can continue moving our union forward.

Let's entertain this for a moment shall we. So you are saying that if a two tier wage was offered that brought you up to our base wages in less than a year and a half that would not be sufficient? Hmm.

Not counting any of the other very important items that may be improved upon in your contract and also may be superior to mine, you are going to say no to an $8000.00 per year not counting extra hours bump? Really???? How many bills can be paid with $666.00 per month?

And although we will be in JCBA talks and may have a new agreement anyway. Our contract also has two more raises of 2.1% each in 2016 and 2017. I know, bankruptcy agreement or not.

IF, IF the wage bump is in something you guys get to vote on in the future, think very carefully what you chose to say to it.

From what I've been told, MF and Delaney meet with the company in a private room and then go to another room where the members of the NC are waiting and discuss the issues. Anyone on the NC want to chime in? Charlie Brown is this right or wrong?

The reality is that, even on this forum, the U4C has more US AIRWAYS support than 141falling when you take out all of the posters who aren't even going to work under any TA and are not even active fleet service members.  All the fringe folks who are on the outside looking in, like 700, WeAAsles, and others don't even have a vote but do want to do their best to manipulate it.  They will be unsuccessful, as we feel very strong about the outcome of this vote.  After the vote, we will be able to continue building this union as our group has the last 6 months, and will have better experienced candidates than the current officers who lack both a skill set or the sorta experience needed to fight for members.   To be sure, there will always be a pro management crowd that will want to continue supporting the current group but it has diminished greatly.

Here is a pharse that I was told within my first week 30+years ago
"Your in the airline business now so,don't believe anything you hear and only half of what you see!"

Wese,
If you had walked in our shoes I think you would see it different. Yes you are in a bankrupt contract. Our CEO made the play on your company,I know they are calling it a merger but the way I see it, we bought you. A deal was cut on your wages by Horton and Parker so the AA people would support the merger. On the US side, we have sacrificed for years to make US profitable now it payback time. It's a slap in the face to work side by side with you guy's and to make less. Of the 1.9 billion of last years profit, US contibuted close to 1.6 of that, look that up in the SEC filing's..

JCBA talks may start but it will be years before anything is settled. Athough we may have better scope, vacation , sick time or whatever that's something that we have earned over time and it's unfortunat that the TWU didn't do better for you guy's.

So no one should post to show the real timmie?

By the way still waiting for your reply on how AV is qualified for an AGC when he has never written a grievance?

And waiting for you to reply to this:

Wrong Tim,

That was the 2002 bankruptcy, I was not on the Negotiating Committee.

And here you go again, making up things and red herrings.

We never reached an agreement in the 2004/2005 case as it would have laidoff 46% of the membership, how many times are you going to lie about it?

The CBA was abrogated and I wasnt utility, so how did I negotiate myself out of a job, when one, we never agreed to concessions, and two I wasnt Utility?

I was a stock clerk when I left US.

And as for as 1725, you are making up some serious accusations, shall I pass them on to Bill Wise for you?

There is no gag order and no secret deal.

Your posts, your lies show you have zero credibility and will say and lie about anything for a vote or discredit someone.

You were the one removed from office, cant get elected to the district or the international and made up a union three times and tried to raid US and AA.

You are exactly what is wrong with the labor movement.

Crickets......

Ok so this whole comment is all about emotions then? I absolutely wouldn't see it differently because emotions never paid any of my bills. And yes USair bought AA just as America west bought Usair. What's your point?

To me the TWU did as great as can be expected in BK court. I look at the ENTIRE value of my CBA not just my base wages. Who gives an RA what I make on the front end if the back of the tube is ripped wide open.
