Break Clean and go to neutral corners! Who you are , what you do and where you're from has no bearing on the issues. Trying to discredit each other only adds to the amount of sh#t i have to by pass to get to the posts with merit. I ask that we refrain from the personal attacks, so that peace and harmony can prevail, in an effort to discuss and respectfully debate the relevant issues pertaining to the future of Fleet Service? I would agree with Tim in that we are at a crossroads in our collective futures. Let's stay focused on the issues please.

Moving on.... I find it interesting we (sUS) could be working the American flights in PHX as of March as a vendor. If this is the case... what stops the company from using this same strategy throughout the system where they can? Wouldn't this strategy circumvent the urgency for a transition ageement? The floor is open for opinion and discussion. Let your responses refrain from personal attacks in an effort for peace, harmony and solidarity to prevail.

orgac  i never thought of it that way  but it could be a way to keep labor cheap.. dp fav  but in the end  when they need that scs  they can kiss it good bye as far as im concerned..   til we get a contract with retro  wages north of aa and scope protection and enhancements

I fail to see how this circumvents anything.  All this will do is bring some work to both US and AA.  This is realizing few if any synergies and costing no US or AA jobs.  This is a good thing.  What is BS is if we have a 'helping hands' agreement like after the US/HP merger.  There the company abused it.

and they wonder why people are skeptical of all these clowns

It's gonna get interesting. There is a lot of talk about cross-fleeting, and the fact that AA's 737-800s may be better suited for some of US's current transcons such as CLT/PHL to places like SEA, SAN, PHX, etc..If that's the case, and they do put the 738's on those routes, that will put those outsourced stations over the 20 flight threshold and the TWU should start it's drive to get those stations restaffed. However, AA will do all it can to keep from restaffing the TWU guys....I brought this up to a few union officials and they said it was tricky because if they put AA metal from PHL/CLT to a station like SEA and AA restaffed our guys, then there would have to be a layoff on the US side as they would have less metal of their own to work.....im not saying this it's whats gonna be happening, but it has been discussed here at AA at a few union meetings......All the outsource RIF guys just wanna chance get back to their old stations.

AA hasnt had rampers in CLT for a long time, it was outsourced in the early 2000s.

So 98.6% of the lodgea nominated Buffy, and I didnt know Jay and Karen are bf and gf.

I have to wonder if this kind of gutter politics is actually intended to alienate the membership.  In any case, it's counter-productive to engaging people.

I wouldn't mind going to CLT someday, don't know what 1983 sen can hold as far as shifts go?   Is there anywhere on the web to view a US systemwide seniority list?

Assuming FT, and with a two year old seniority list, that would put you at 174 as FT.  I don't know the breakdown of FSA vs FSL, and that assumes 1/1/83 for a seniority date.  That also does not factor in any staffing changes since 2012 (which is the date for the list I happen to have).  It's all academic right now though, as it's not going to be insourced likely until there's a JCBA.  I wouldn't be shocked to see US ramp working AA metal and vice versa in the hubs soon if the other airline is currently contracted out.

In LAS we have PHX people that have been here over a year and are P##### off that US people are working our stuff. Is this one of those back room deals done behind closed doors? Whats going on here??

Exactly.

Dunno who's behind that website, but they need to knock it off...
