And the intl leadership approved and agreed to it. Even told the members they were confused and had to revote then got a mass media blitz of democratic politicians to switchcoat and stand with management to force the concessions home. I swear that the iam is making tons of republicans.Jimmy Neutron said:Great Article out of the Charlotte Observer today HIGHLIGHTING what's TRULY wrong in our Country !!!!

"Boeing’s case epitomizes that sharp economic divide. For just as the company was wringing concessions from its workers, its board of directors approved a 50 percent increase in the company’s stock dividend and a $10-billion stock buyback that will richly reward investors and executives who get paid in Boeing shares."[/size]

Tim, would this be part of the helping hands arrangement? Is the district going to proceed with that? I thought you guys were going to stay strong from a CBA before JCBA or helping hands arrangement.Tim Nelson said:So parker is going to speak in clt? I cant imagine a good reception.
The biggest rumor at amr ord is that parker is getting rid of vendors at phx clt fll phl and some other stations where usairways workers pick up the work. You know how rumors go so take it as a grain of salt.
Take a vacation Robbed.....My guess is about another 3-4 months. Much closer to the challenge of SCS by the TWU window.robbedagain said:Has there been any word on when new talks will be scheduled?

Who needs "helping hands" when the company can put out to be American's ground handling and undercut any vendor? It would be as if you are moving money from one pant pocket to the other pant pocket. If US bids a insanely low bid, then American benefits, but what does it matter, as it is all the same company really. American workin PHX isn't protected, so it is subject to being contracted out by anyone... including US.737823 said:Tim, would this be part of the helping hands arrangement? Helping hands would be when cities with both AA and US employees work hand in hand.

I'm uncomfortable saying that. I simply don't know. But I believe an agreement may be closer than what some are saying.737823 said:Tim, would this be part of the helping hands arrangement? I told my management team here in PHX that if we lost the bid for AA work that we would not be helpful which PHX management told me nice threat which I in return said not a threat but reality. So, to answer your question, f**k helping hands.Kev3188 said:
Is the NC's stance still that absent a CBA, any sort of "helping hands" proposal is DOA?
