If that's the case and I tend to agree with you then Sito should not be telling members that without AH there would be a deal. This an example though a small one of the members being mislead yet again.

Every company has an AH or equivalent.

The mindset shouldn't be one of "if it weren't for so-and-so we'd have a deal."

It should be "we'll work towards a deal despite (whoever) being across from us."

dont assume 700 is telling the truth. Sito cant be such an utter dumb arse to make such a moronic statement. Sito needs serious education upgrades but he isnt as stupid as 700 makes him out.
3 things
1. AH is doing his job and has won every chess game against the iam. The iam 141 usually hits panic mode and hasnt endured. A h knows this.

2. Dont believe all the talk about how bad the nmb is. The nmb is a mediation service and doesnt sign contracts. Just because the nmb hasnt scheduled more talks doesnt mean the two sides cant talk. Unions sign contracts notthe nmb. A contract shouldnt get signed until it is fair to do so. Eventually the company will need a contract so it wont burn through money keeping everything separate. It is what it is so patience is THE NAME OF THE GAME. And our previous nc had true sh#t for brains not having antthing but a 2% pay increase after 18 months. Amr has 2% pay increases for the next 4 years so they arent going to be nearly as hungry as our peeps if our nc bites on a moronic 2 year agreement. Mx had two 3% increases after ammendability. I hope our nc has the skill set and education to understand joint talks could go on for years.

3. I forgot what point 3 eas.

First of all I never said Sito was stupid, or acting stupid, dont put words in my posts.

Were you in CLT at the 1725 business meeting?

Go ask your fellow fleet service agents who were there and heard it right from Sito's mouth.

No you werent, and I know you have contacts that probably were so why dont you ask them instead of posting misinformation?

I stand by what Sito said, prove me wrong otherwise.

The NMB is a problem, look at the majority of the railroads have their CBA legislated as the NMB wont release the parties, every airline negotiation goes on for several years, because the NMB is doing nothing to facilitate the process.

The IAM has asked over eight months ago to be released and the NMB has NOT given an answer, their lack of a reply is their answer.

Have you ever been on a negotiating committee?

Ever deal with a mediator?

Ever sat across the table from US and its labor relations employees and negotiate a CBA?

141 has met with the company last year without the mediator, how did that work out Timmy?

Is there a new CBA?

And if the NMB isnt present in mediated talks, the mediator cant go back to the board and report progress or the lack of it.

Every session that has gone on, hasnt produced a new CBA,now has it?

These questions are for Nelson...

How many local meetings have you attended... (CLT and/or ORD)

How many grievances have you filed?

How many grievances have you won?

Did you demand AGC pay as an organizer?

I’m just curious, and I think you at least owe the membership to answer these questions truthfully... since you attempt to be a mouthpiece for the masses... as you call them...

Dont forget being removed from office for trying to start his own union several times.

Tim,

You are naive if you believe that the NMB isn't a problem. The Company is not calling us to meet outside of mediated negotiations and how many times have we met since June? Once, yes once. Granted, the NMB doesn't negotiate the contract but when you file for mediation because the Company is not bargaining in good faith and the NMB drags their feet, I have a major problem with this. You would think that having a democrat in office and the NMB having  2 of 3 positions filled by democrats that mediations wouldn't be this stagnant.

As I have stated before, I hope you are part of negotiations some day so that you see what they are really like. I doubt that you will do so even if given the chance because it may destroy your ability to claim what you would have done as opposed to what really got done. It is easy to be a back seat driver.

I thought the Democrat party was the much ballyhooed friend of labor so how could the NMB do this?

How many times do I have to answer these questions Roabily?  Sheesh

I don't know how many grievances I have filed, a couple hundred???  I was a 3 term Local Chairman.  Of course I won grievances. From 2000 with a grievance which won, before it went to arbitration with a letter acknowledging anything outside the jetway was our work regarding jetway bags [since then I heard FO signed a letter agreeing that 'others' can bring a jetway bag down and place by beltloader???].  Miklavic and Hedbloom?? signed off on it.  I submitted the grievance in 1999 to enforce the newly signed contract and get clarification. It forced the clarification like I said between Miklavic and Hedbloom back in 2000.   Again, I can't be sure, but I heard that your boys signed off on a new side letter allowing management or other employees to bring jetway bags down and even place them next to the belt.   The last successful grievance I wrote, I was really proud of.  Just this past year, I fought for all 300,000 IAM members, not just IAM 141 when the grievance I co authored and won in a federal case was settled outside of court and protected the LMRDA rights for all 300,000 IAM members.  Unfortunately, in that grievance, the internal steps within the IAM were not successful so we had to move past the IAM attorneys and Buffy and take external steps.   You think the INTL wanted to have this new INTL election this year or do you understand it was due to someone fighting to uphold your rights?   And that's all it was about for me, protecting your rights.  Not sure why I have to continue answering questions about my skillset, research competitiveness, and knowledge about how to fill out and argue a grievance.  In fact, one of the main reasons why I want to run for AGC is to enforce the contract and stop this BS where the union waives off time limits and stalls grievances for 3-5 years by not enforcing time limits in the contract.  I'll press Delaney HARD AS HELL to enforce the contract and either win or lose grievances instead of allowing them to go into the Bermuda Triangle where they disappear for ages [See Robbed Again's grievance].  And FWIW:  FO owes Robbedagain a dissolution or resolution instead of the continuing jerking off over the last 5 years.   My hope is I win and that I can start enforcing the contract and expediting grievances AND ARBITRATING them.  Actual arbitrations of this district last year was less than a dozen when one combines United, US AIRWAYS, Hawaiian, Continental.  Not sure how many US AIRWAYS cases were arbitrated. At any rate, the grievance procedure has NOT been enforced as I would like it to be.  The present course of waiving off time limits is unacceptable for you, me and ALL of our members. If the grievances have no merit and they get lost, then they get lost. If we win them, then we win them.  But burying grievances into the Bermuda Triangle is unacceptable.

Item2: Union meetings
I haven't kept track of how many meetings have been to but I've been working 1030-1900 on Tuesdays and have missed most of them lately. What's your point?  Ok, you got me Roabily, I'm guilty!  I haven't been to the local meetings.  Is that part of your accusation??  At any rate, I have been fully engaged with this union. So much in fact, that your boy Delaney 'hammered' me officially on the official webpage lying out his arse telling the members not to pay any attention to me and that the full time commitment letter in the United contract was 'iron clad'.  I really hated being right on that one.  Yet guys like you WHO KNOW BETTER, stand down and will NOT acknowledge the lies of your boys because you don't have the stones to do so and love hearing MF assure you that he will bust his arse to make sure your IAMPF is well protected.  Actually, any AGC has to fight for the IAMPF whether they like it or not because we are stuck with it.

Item 3:
regarding pay from the district and Delaney, I wrote an email to Delaney and Atkinson asking for 1.9% [might have been 1.5%, I don't remember]  pay raise explaining to them that my pay was below the IAM constitutional guideline. Dunno, april 2011 I think??   I'll check if it's important to you because Im quite sure I wrote it from my personal email account.  Within that email, I told Atkinson and Delaney that it was a constitutional issue but I understood if they chose not to raise my pay which was $72,000.  Not like I was busting Delaney's balls.  If you are having such a heartache about it then I'll see if I can dig it up and email it to you if you want.

Anything else, brother? Or you gotta go ask MF for some followups? When I get to CLT, I'll have a few things to say to MF when he comes into the breakrooms.  BTW< I know for a fact that your boy MF waives off time limits on grievances.  These things will be discussed when I'm in CLT.  Waiving off time limits on grievances, FOR AH BTW, is weak.

prez  or cb  aside from the nmb having not set the schedule for talks  is there a possiblity that the elections that are going to be takin place going to delay talks further    if so that could be what may be the nmb  or worse yet  allen hemmoraghing hemmingway are waiting on

P. Rez,
Anyone who believes DP is not calling the shots regarding contract negotiations has their head in the sand. The NMB is indeed another obstacle for labor to obtain meaningful contracts within the airline industry. How long has it been since the NMB has released a labor organization to take legal action (withdrawal of service) STRIKE against any commercial carrier in the airline industry? DP and other CEOs in the industry take full advantage of this. When the NMB continually denies or disregards a union's ability to take necessary action; labor is left with little leverage when dealing with airline CEOs who hold the shareholders interests over the employees. When the NMB has historically denied the union's ability to strike it's like chumming the waters for the corporate sharks. AH is but a pawn in the chess game.

orgac  ah may be the pawn in the chess game but he sure knows how to play it well  and that he does indeed   its been what about 7 or 8 months now since the iam asked to be released and still no word  from them jerks at the nmb  pathetic  who holds them accountable

AH only has to be the party of no, and the IAM has buckled.  IAM ask for XXXX  and AH says "No".  Then the IAM has asked for XXX and AH says "NO'.   Then IAM asks for XX, and AH says "NO".  Then IAM ask for X and AH says ok.
That's how it has gone each time. Why wouldn't AH say no?  He already knows that the IAM routinely panics around political election time and gets desperate?  It's time for the IAM to turn the page and start saying "No" to any hint of seamlessness until a fair agreement can be reached.   I remain skeptical that the IAM will pimp off fleet first in a TA as a token to AH so MX can get more afterwards. It has happened each time as well. IMO, I'd rather allow MX go first. They could sign a TA at the same time, which would be staged. Last time they did that, they said if both didn't ratify then neither would. Another lie because fleet ratified and MX didn't but the IAM waived off its earlier commitment.

I've been part of negotiations.  Just because I'm not on the negotiations committee doesn't mean that I haven't been a part of negotiations for either US AIRWAYS or United.  Why would you presume otherwise? You still think things are negotiated across from wooden tables?  The actual negotiation room is just the image of negotiations, true negotiations involves educating the army and building solidarity by keeping everyone informed and also keeping the NC and union leaders accountable. In fact, when we tell you don't bring no Bull S back, that's part of negotiations as well.

No back seat driver here.  No Monday morning Quarterbacking going on either.  I'm out front and straight up.  I take bullets from the front and I know you don't have my back at all after you and your boys put out a Puss* official update about me on OUR webpage telling folks not to listen to me but to believe the officers who all were BSing United members and outright lying.  You guys don't have the stones to put me on the NC so don't speak for me otherwise. K?
