yes. Iam141 eboard pledged 100% endorsement of the current intl leaders. United members and boeing workers are perhaps the biggest supporters of reform due to their concessionary contracts. Usairways ramp, southwest air, and usairways mx seem to be supporting the current officers.737823 said:Tim is Delaney a supporter of Buffy and the incumbents?Josh
How did you figure that? They most certainly do.700UW said:Southwest doesn't have a concessionary contract.
They need to match the UA agreement.700UW said:Southwest doesn't have a concessionary contract.
But they are coming after them eventually......robbedagain said:WN has never filed for CH11 They are the highest paid union members in the airline industry
no josh they do not need to match ua agreement
what its called is learning from the mistakes of that agreement and moving on while the iam dropped the ball on that deal, remember the members could have rejected that too and that would of sent a hell of a message
on the other hand why have not one dam jp morgan ceo on down or any other financial institution gotten prison time let alone court dates for the fraud they committed tell us that josh
management is using "The United Model" as competitive industry now. Gary kelly from southwest is wanting similar concessions. AH is demanding that delaney be fair with him and allow him to go into joint talks with $0 like delanay approved for united management.robbedagain said:WN has never filed for CH11 They are the highest paid union members in the airline industry

Robbed do your co-workers on the line seem engaged and educated about negotiations? The sense I get is many at US are apathetic and the co knows that and takes full advantage. Obviously you and other participating here are not, but if many members at US are that is part of the problem.robbedagain said:agree there T5 Tim its high flying time the members stand up read every little and big lines and in btwn the lines on any and all proposals and if it is bad shoot it down and keep voting it down til mgmt. gets it if it takes a strike by us and 142 to force them to give a fair deal then that's what it takes

Total value compensation has to be a part of the equation. You can offer me a base wage of $30 per hour but if I'm only guaranteed 4 hours of work per day and I pay through the nose for my medical insurance, how much am I really being paid?NYer said:So your definition of "not concessionary" means highest paid?
The fact they're allowed up to 20% PT, is not concessionary?...The fact that these PT employees have medical coverage for themselves and not their family, is not concessionary?...The fact the when a PT employee bids and is awarded a FT position but only receive 70% of the seniority, is not concessionary?...The fact they can employ up to 10% of regular employees with temporary employees for up to 120 days, is not concessionary?...The fact that those temporary employees do not accrue seniority and do not get any other benefits, is not concessionary?......Should I go on?
