P. Rez,
You have said before you support a three legged approach.  Does the NC support a choice of retirement plan of IAMNPF OR negotiated 401K match like the members at Alaska Air have?

Josh
Josh,

I have briefed in breakrooms that I support 401k and the pension. I have also stated that I prefer the pension.

Hindsight is always 20/20. I wished TN would have been a part of this current NC and he would see the dedication this group has had in furthering everyones interest from small city, big city, junior person, senior person, etc. TN states that we don't listen to the membership and that we don't know what we are doing. Very easy to say that when you are not there but I guarantee we listen to the membership and we have a clue. I support your campaign to put TN on jcba.

P. Rez
Prez, I see.  It's not hard to miss the damage you guys have done.  I know what is going on in negotiations and I was disappointed in the union's movement last week.  IMO, shameful.   But, we see the District leaderships dedication and listening to the membership, not by what you say, but what you guys have done already at United and elsewhere.  Trying to tell us that you guys will change your spots may be easy on the ears for the naïve but not for those who know.

Are they addressing the cuts to future benefits effective 1/1/14?

Tim,

Why do you have to talk s**t to anyone who disagrees with you? Why can't you state your thoughts and ideas and if someone disagrees why threaten to out them if you were right?

P. Rez
I stated my thoughts very clearly.  And I will be relentless against those who defraud the membership and relentless against those, as yourself, who screwed over our craft at United either by endorsing that contract or recommending it.

Will you recommend a TA for acceptance if it had extra days off but subjects 'the work' at smaller stations to Cinderella dates,  instead of grandfathering them in scope along with all current stations?  yes or no?

And to be fair, I will never recommend a TA for acceptance in this environment where a company is making billions a year, if it doesn't at least address scope first by grandfathering in all current work as 'our work', period.  Maybe you can make the same personal pledge to PJ.  Even though he is against me, he is still worth that pledge from any candidate.  Because that pledge is a very very fair pledge to make and one that should be expected.   Any contract that doesn't meet that requirement for me, will be recommended by me with a rejection.  But the membership should see the proposals and be allowed to vote, regardless of the AGC's beliefs.

Pat, don't answer 737, he isn't fleet and there is more to the his story.

What needs to be said here is that the current N/C team is as dedicated, and knowledgeable as any we have EVER had, or probably ever WILL have!

The garbage Nelson spreads is so counterproductive, that it drags ALL of those down on his team. I sincerely hope that all future candidates consider this before agreeing to join his ticket! There is only ONE candidate on his team that I’m currently committed to voting for, and it’s NOT him!

Not only is he not Fleet, he's not even a banker! He is part of a phantom digital army of supporters for the benefit someone's ruse...

He complains about UA and HA yet none of the NC negotiated for UA or HA, except for Delaney.

By your own logic, you are in a way responsible for the HAL and UA bombs now arent you. You endorsed and campaigned for RD now didnt you in 2008. So it's your fault also tim. How quickly you forget. also, we all know how you won those organizing drives, I am glad you did, don't get me wrong, but please, it was not all because of you or your teams skills.

Well Timmie,

Your team got spanked:

Machinist Union Members Elect Top Leadership by Wide Margin

May 9, 2014

Members of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) have elected the top leadership of their union by a more than a two-to-one margin. The preliminary results were announced today following a tabulation of ballots from IAM Local Lodges across the U.S. and Canada. The vote count was performed at IAM Headquarters in Upper Marlboro, MD under the direct supervision of Department of Labor representatives.

“IAM members made their collective voice heard and elected a diverse leadership team with the experience and capabilities to lead one of the greatest unions in North America,” said IAM International President Tom Buffenbarger. “Our members have spoken and we thank them for their support. They overwhelmingly rejected an effort to move this union backwards and we now turn our full attention to moving the IAM forward.”

IAM members in the United States and Canada elected the incumbent officers R. Thomas Buffenbarger for International President and Robert Roach, Jr. for General Secretary-Treasurer. In voting in the United States, IAM members elected eight incumbent General Vice Presidents including Lynn D. Tucker, Jr., Robert Martinez, Jr., Philip J. Gruber, Gary R. Allen, Sito Pantoja, Mark Blondin, Diane Babineaux and Dora Cervantes.

"In the IAM, the members guide our great union with wisdom," said General Vice President Sito Pantoja. "I thank IAM members and their lodges for participating in the democratic process, and I am humbled by their overwhelming support. IAM members' voices have spoken loud and clear for strong, stable, sober and proven leadership."

The preliminary results announced today are subject to final certification by the Department of Labor. Click

That's good to know when Delaney is standing in front of us with political pom pom's or actually here to update us. The last time he "walked the property" was when he was running for the job he has now. It's a shame that he hasn't taken the time in that many years. The election is next month....... right? There were alot of breakrooms expecting him to show up with you that he never showed up in. Why?

I was standing there when he said Hemmenway was replaced.

Jerry Glass drug our a$$ through bankruptcy and stripped us of everything. He is the head of the corporate spear that used us to pave the way for all the other airlines to legally rape its labor groups. How do we not expect him to try to manipulate us into concessions once again. No disrespect intended, but what makes you confident you can play chess with him?
United
Rich actually flew in from negotiations yesterday morning at the same time MF and myself returned. Rich was going to our union meeting but wanted to brief some breakrooms with is before we went. We did tell some people we were coming back, but the union meeting went very long, then there were a couple of small group meetings with Delaney and UA employees and US employees. By the time those finished, his flight was at 5. I know it wasn't much time, wish it was more, but at least several of day shift heard from him. Going to try and get him back soon for another visit. Not making excuses for the man, but I don't know any president that's been in office has had the things take place that this guy has. As far as Glass. Not saying we're playing chess with him. Just saying that he has came in, he is doing the talking and negotiating now instead of Al, and so far, things are progressing pretty good.

What has the dedication of the district officers on that team produced in over 6 years, huh?  Speak louder?  lol

All talk Roa.  All talk.  I wish it weren't true but all they have done is been dedicated to destruction of HAL, UAL, and our very own 2008 agreement that was a POS.  Sorry

No. I'm not responsible. I gave Delaney a chance. He blew it.  I would be responsible if I voted for him again.  That's the difference between me and you.  You keep voting on the same folks who F you. I don't.  Case closed!
