The language wasnt what you wrote.

And the IAM and TWU have agreed upon seniority, DOH into the Classification.

And the TWU and IAM went to arbitration, how many times do you have to be told the same thing over and over?

Go read the Kasher Decision.
700 Tim and Josh are back to spinning things again. I think it's always the hope that there are new readers that they can attempt to infect? The most tiresome thing is because they are pandering to possible new readers we have to repeat ourselves as well over and over so their infection doesn't possibly spread.

They shake the tree and hope a few more new shiny apples might fall out of it.

So you worry which TWU/AA/MIA and allow the TWU to leave the IAM members behind like what happened with TWA. After all 700 is always correct and said the TWU agreement had language that any employees from a carrier acquired are junior to TWU members.

Josh
Of course it had that language and still does. Why would anyone fault an organization for having strong language placed in to protect those they represent?

Say AA had acquired Jet Blue. Should I accept a non union group who hasn't ever belonged to one to have the same perks that I've payed and fought for, for years

"The McCaskill Amendment - What is it and how does it affect us?
Passed as part of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2008, the McCaskill Amendment guarantees a fair and equitable seniority integration of employee groups affected by the combination of two or  more airlines. If no agreement is reached, it must be submitted to binding arbitration. This piece of legislation stipulates a requirement that provisions be made for the integration of seniority lists “in a fair and equitable manner,” including, where applicable, agreement through collective bargaining between the airlines and the representatives of the employees affected.

As you can see, however, we are at a distinct disadvantage by not having a union. Who is going to organize this effort? Who is going to negotiate on our behalf? What do we think is fair and equitable? Who is going to represent us at the arbitration? Who is going to pay for all of this and how will the money be collected?"

Compared to the IAM the TWU rocks. US IAM members have a tremendous privilege working for the new AA, and it would be fair for AA TWU to get preferential bidding and seniority award like TWA. The IAM was okay with it then so why not now?

I don't really care what your thoughts are since you "CLAIM" you don't work for either company.

Never have bought it and never will buy it.

Expressed opinions are different than involved opinions... You are afforded both if it so pertains. My opinion is .....You need to think more about what you say as you don't pertain to the situations you are expressing opinions about!

.my Union can beat up your Union... Nah uh... Really we really having this discussion lol

I may be an employee of US but I am not a stakeholder josh.   Im proud to be a union member.     still no word josh I mean we did get a TA now  and even Tim seems to be positive about it....   so josh its ok in your book for the employees to get screwed continuously by the mgmt.  the same donkeys who make  far bigger money than the employees...   figures  coming from a banker  a banker whose own employer has screwed millions of Americans out of their homes
if there is any "out" for the company with our medical that involves "undetermined" future health care cost, and the union blames obama then ill prolly vote no since i wouldnt b too fond of subsidizing a future wage with health care language that is on shifting sand.

Josh's stock in trade is throwing a grenade, then hoping everyone follows him out into the weeds. It's tiresome and uses resources that should instead be used to share information/build coalition. Union busting 101.

It only works when one lets it...

I've noticed that for the last few months. That's Tim/Josh's MO. I really believe if Tim wins a position that any information he gets will be fed directly up the management line. A Judas could be sitting right at the very table we eat from?

Right because the TWU rocks compared to the IAM. I wonder if under the alliance agreement if USAIR numbers at BOS drop we will become a TWU station. That would be awesome to see.

We have told you that you should be more careful when you post not to slip up to show the readers that you actually are an employee of Usair.
