I see only the Wholly-Owned Regional airlines with a well-established flow-thru agreement with their well-financed partner surviving this storm and some type of ab-initio training as part of the key.

That doesn't seem an unreasonable assumption for the future, but I'll guess nothing of the sort will take place unless/until the various managements, most of whom can't seem to see much beyond the next one or two quarters tops, find themselves up against a proverbial wall and have to then react.

Naturally, and that's unduly cruel of "you'se".  After all; who alive doesn't harbor a secret dream of one day undergoing a pre-frontal lobotomy and thus qualifying as a self-styled "spartan"?...Perhaps even "battle" tested "knight"?...Or buying a gauche tie and magically becoming an "American Patriot"? Mere mortals like myself could never dare even dream of "achieving" all that such as yourself have. 😉 A futile suggestion, but do someday consider the concept of growing up.
Grow up? You write all that blah, blah about knights, patriots, battle tested, dreams, magic and I wonder if someone had a liquid lobotomy? 😉

I can't help you there. Ask among "you'se" own:

Before long there will be orange colored wheel chairs for the flight crew.

Doubtless to be made only according to DOT standards after the conclusion of a lenghty and expensive study. 😉

Do you want me to ask Eric where he got the T-shirt?

No, but I'm honestly curious as to where he got his "brain", or what injured it once issued, with the thought that perhaps something could be done to prevent future tragedies of that sort...? 🙂 The same question naturally applies to any who would cheerfully waste $675 on one of these exquisite pieces of fine art:  http://www.cactuspilotcontributors.com/libertynecktie.html

Ballot Certification Committee

March 17, 2014

Constitutional Amendment Referendum Results

The Constitutional Amendment on the Dissolution of USAPA Referendum

FAILED

due to a lack of receiving a two thirds (2/3) majority of the eligible votes cast.

It did fail and unless I'm mistaken it was 2/3 of those who voted, not 2/3 of eligible voters.

You're right.  Only half of eligible voters needed to cast votes, not 2/3, to validate the election.

I don't know but I'm pretty sure that Marty Feldman went shopping for a few UsapIans. 😉

The disconnect clearly suffered here lies in the fact that none need ever present anything outside of what your merry band has so proudly done for "you'se" selves to best evidence dysfunctional personalities, nor could anyone ever even make up anything more ridiculous to smear your group with than what you've done for yourselves...and I liked Marty Feldman's work anyway. 😉

From public court records: "Eric Auxier

...... Oh yeah,I DID save all the Scab officers email /phone list
just in case I ever need to blast email them spam sites or give
them an emergency call at 3am or something. . . . :
Have you called 877-678-7272 25 times today???"

I agree, it will take nothing short of the proverbial 2X4 across the noggin to motivate management...but it is coming and they know it. It will probably take several years for the entire ab-initio concept to materialize in the US with active participation of the FAA, pilot unions and the airline industry working together to create new legislation and FAR's to accommodate. Until then it will take an improved compensation package AND a well-established career track rewarding those willing to the employment terms...which is why I think the independent regionals will be at a decided disadvantage. Everything else equal, wholly-owned affiliates with an established career path to their major airline owner for new-hires will stand head & shoulders above the independents in the minds of those qualified for employment.

BTW, thanks for a rational discussion free from hyperbole!

At least we can agree that Mel Brooks is a comedic genius.,.

Agreed, and yeah; the fumits will probably have to hit the windmill hard, prior to any typical airline management of these times taking action at all, and then it'll likely be a reactive, rather than properly pre-planned respose, I'd think. Nothing new to see in that last for any of us, most unfortunately.

I did not know that, if less than half of eligible voters cast ballots the election is invalid?
