The thing that you never seem to grasp is that the "fairness" of the Nic or the "fairness" of DOH is not and should not be in question. Both sides had merger committees representing their interests, spent millions of dollars and agreed to abide by whatever the arbitrator (whom we paid dearly) decided. The behavior of the east subsequent to the arbitration is reprehensible and everyone knows it (especially the east pilots who are reasonable people). Your actions may someday be forgiven but will never be forgotten.EastUS1 said:
To expand on that a bit: Whenever people get caught up in group dynamics... well...it's a whole lot easier to self-excuse, or even fantasize as "noble", purely petty and greedy BS, but there's NO excuse for ANY individual person to EVER imagine themselves "worthy", with say a whopping 3 months, of EVER jumping ahead of others with even as much as 16-17 more years worked!..Or 10/whatever. To make a willfull choice that such is somehow EVER "OK" demonstrates a wholesale lack of any real, personal character. Anyone even capable of such childish, greedy narcicissm has my utmost and completely proper contempt (and perhaps even sympathy, to some extent)...Period!
In addition you should open your eyes. The company an the APA are moving quickly to eliminate usapa. The meeting with company executives on Wednesday should prove interesting. This isn't over yet an the Nic is certainly not dead.
