You told us the DCA Reps  needed to be Recalled, so does this mean you're voting No?

Did you take an upgrade yet or are you still afraid to check out?

 I was a 737 Captain in 2001 and an AB Captain in 2002.
 
I work 8 days a month, fly 16 legs, don't have to go to  Europe and don't have to answer the phone. 
 
So which is it, do we follow the sage advice of the DCA Reps or do they need to be recalled?

"For those that require factual information.  

According to the agreement with apa and USAPA, the seniority list integration requires it to follow the McCaskill-Bond Amendment.  

apa wanted USAPA to give up McCaskill- Bond protections.  USAPA respectfully declined.

There is a provision in the memorandum of understanding that amr pilots and US Airways pilots  are allowed to extend the timeline of their attempt of a seniority list agreement, before mandatory arbitration, if both parties give the ok.

The agreement is required to be voted on separately by apa pilots and US Airways pilots.  If both official CBA represented groups vote in favor of an agreement it becomes a legal finality.

If there is no agreement it requires arbitration, in which neck ties and staplers are not required nor will they be allowed.  Arbitration is the only other option wich will be a legal finality to the seniority list integration process.

The seniority list arbitration time line will proceed gradually.  This process will take at least four years or more.  In the meantime, the new American Airlines will be a safe and reliable transportation system.  All three pilot groups will operate separately, keeping what they brought to the merger. 
 
In fact, the united and continental airline pilots (now known as United Airlines) operate as separate airlines to this day, even the the merger was announced in May of 2010.

I don't feel that merely "the best of the best of the best" could possibly suffice for them here. These are all truly awesome and super-human people, the likes of which have never before been seen aloft, I mean, they must be...right? 😉 Though even the world's very first man in space was later felled by one of Fate's little hunting expeditions, that Neil Armstrong almost ended himself by merely slipping in a shower, that the likes of America's and some of the world's greatest Aces perished in accidents, well...we all know those men, being mere mortals, were nothing to ever compare with AWA's "finest", and that no misfortune, mechanical or otherwise, could EVER, even possibly happen with an AWA "spartan" at the controls, just ask them. 
 
Seriously; words just fail me with such mindless, incurable infants. What's most telling, in terms of "character", is the always-immediate assumption of "fellow pilot" error on these foolish childrens part. A person has to just feel sorry for any so clearly mentally crippled by such astoundingly ignorant arrogance.

I see that's already received a minus vote. Perhaps the issuer of that could now step forward and dazzle us all with their personal credentials, or at least those of the supernatural sort that render them forever impervious to misfortune, mishap, or accident? "You'se" other option is to at least briefly exit Fantasyland/"sparta", and just frikkin' GROW UP!

I'm not exactly sure what you're asking. A transition agreement was created that produced a SLI under ALPA (the Nic) and it contained certain conditions that must have been met for the implementation of said seniority list. The conditions were never met. And now the document has been nullified, so those conditions can never be met. All we are left with are two separate pilot groups operating separately from each other on two different seniority lists.

The conditions will be legally met when we have one contract, which will be soon, and the document was never nullified.  Get used to it.
