Clint would find Traderjake absolutely repulsive.

Because he is a traitor or he's afraid to upgrade, my god if you have not done it by now with all the upward movement here something is wrong.

My, my, my. Aren't you two clever with your ad hominem attacks. One being a former captain criticizing a first officer for wearing an official, company approved article of pilot uniform. Another F/O criticizing a fellow pilot for his girth. Very nice. It shows you that traders stick together, both of whom have benefited from a combined six decades of date of hire seniority.

The difference being that one is a former 330 captain who would not have his former junior first officers have the same benefit that he gained in mergers and the other being a self-imposed first officer who would deny captains who are actually junior to him the same right. My, my, my.
From George Nicolau's Award:

" There are four basic lessons to be learned from those submissions; that EACH CASE TURNS ON ITS OWN FACTS ; that the objective it to make the integration fair and equitable; that the proposals advanced by those in contest rarely meet that standard; and that the end result, no matter how crafted, never commands universal acceptance."

What occurred in 1987-1989 has little relevance to the events of 2005-2007.

And has even less relevance to the imminent SLI award.

With that said, I wish you all the best in the outcome, and hope you enjoy the remainder of your career at American Airlines and can move on to an excellent CBA in 2020.

Oh, and about the leather jackets. It might be approved( but not part of the new AA uniform) , but to me, it looks more like a motorcycle jacket or freight dog/bush pilot hand-me-down. Check out the "Sully" trailer, and tell me how professional "Sully" and "Jeff" look on the dock compared to a couple of waterlogged leather jackets.

Tell that to all the other senior F/O's that are flying for QOL, not the fourth stripe/extra money.

Maybe you'll upgrade sooner if they stay where they are.

I think you are taking yourself and what is said here a little too seriously but knock yourself out.

BTW, it's been almost two decades since DOH was used  to combine pilot seniority lists.
Really? Two decades? How has that worked out?

Which commuter was that?
Well, my commuter was bigger than PSA, and unfortunately wasted about 650 million for 30 MD 80's and a small bunch of whiners, you should feel very lucky we acquired you, right. to bad we did not merge with Western

Hope they sue big time, separate ops is fine for all of us, right, I know the AA boys are fine with it.

I don't expect the SLI to include the Nicolau Award, but at least the West won't be stuck with a DOH cramdown.

I'm certain given the great care the Arbs have taken throughout the long, drawn out process, that it will be eminently fair and equitable. I can hardly contain my enthusiasm to see the result.

No NIC. No DOH. A 10 year draw.........good luck to you.

Yeah. Too bad Bob Crandall couldn't close the deal with PSA before Ed Colodny made his offer for $17/share or 400 million dollars. I would have been a 777 Captain based in LAX when I retired.

And the fleet was 31 Super 80's, 4 DC-9-30's and 20 BAE 146's( a small bunch of whiners?). Only 19 of those actually made it to the merger, because one of your commuter's disgruntled employees shot the pilots and flew the plane into the ground near Big Sur. It all went downhill after that thanks to your stellar commuter's crack management team.

Thanks for the ride.
