20 captain vacancies, and a reduction of 38 positions.  
 
They do that quarterly, and east attrition will be less than West attrition.  Actually, they do that quarterly, and east attrition will equal east reduction...kinda just how it has been on the West since the scab union came along trying to steal our jobs.
 
Good news though, you lose 160 positions next year but 80 or so will get a captain vacancy...unless of course the SLI is complete and none of the remaining east pilots will hold jack in any reduction bid.
 
 
Oh, BTW by "not what they used to be"  did you mean when the scab union was around and east could steal West jobs?

Guess the PHX training center will be axed soon, so we were told in CQT, as the little fishbowl is slowly drained. Oh well. Guess bottom line, NO NIC FOR YOU...

They can move all the planes to MIA.  LUS East pilots still have to fly them until after the SLI.  Or haven't you figured that out yet, brainiac?
