You love the term binding arbitration, but supported AOL keeping the funds it is supposed to get from USAPA for "defense." So, CB, will you honor this binding arbitration and not sue to have it changed/overturned?
What is so stunning is the West legal brain trust could never understand RLA law. The election that put USAPA in and no JCBA is what killed the Nic. 700 UW urged them on with his half baked ideas.
Very simple. New bargaining agent, no JCBA, no Nic.
Ferguson, Vason, Koontz were in over their heads.

It even looks like Fergie!!!

They made implicit assumptions, just like the 9th warned them the first time... Assumption is mother of all F ups!

It appears part of the West strategy now is to attack the lack of confidentially in the closing days of rebuttal. Teeing up the lawsuit.
Johnny Mac is pleading for an East pilot to come forward with a leak over on the APA board. Yet we have the West sickout last week and Burkett pouring his heart out over his tragic future plans. And even the countdown lady throws in the towel. The real leak is in the fishbowl. And the Arbs know it.
And now (and so glad he is ok) CB resurfaces, noting us twisting in the wind. Fishing? The nautical theme continues.
They are looking for an East pilot to pin the fishbowl leak on. Any volunteers?
Well one would have to assume he has it ,heck like they all on the west haven't seen it ? Their own west pilot AOL member married to an executive VP of the company and those 650 dollar ties should get ya something!

"The East Pilots Merger Committee continues to need donations from the pilots it represents. To date, 1,106 East pilots of a total of 3,065, have contributed $223,527. About 36% of East pilots are carrying the load for the entire group’s work. We are still between $150,000 and $175,000 short, based on our best estimate of total expenses. If you haven't contributed to the defense of your seniority, now is the time to do it. Please make a contribution of $200, or whatever you can, to:

East Pilots SIC Fund
APA/EPSIC
P.O. Box 155249
Fort Worth, Texas76155"

Your best post ever CB, BC, C3PO-whatever you're using today.

It's an important message, thanks for helping get it out.

How about that pledge of no lawsuits against the award while you're here?

Ridiculous that only 1/3 of the East pilot group has stepped up to the plate regarding the Merger Committee.
Pretty sad. A lot of rocks are thrown at the west, but they raised the money to fight their fight.

Maybe if you "shamed" and "forced" them into "stepping up to the plate" like many of you have claimed of other groups (this is why it's called "CONTRIBUTING").  Maybe those that have not "contributed" to the EPSIC see the folly of the last 10 years.  Then that really wouldn't be "ridiculous", would it?

The non political, non USAPA East Committee has done an outstanding job in their work on behalf of the East pilots. Stunning work, spot on.

Most of them were thrown from the line into their job with the weight of our entire group on their shoulders on short notice.

The honest men they be they even give a public accounting of their debts. By law USAPA was bound to report Union spending in their Federal LM reports, and filed on time every year. These guys do it up front just because. Bravo. Any financials, other than counting of ties, from LEO over the last 10 years?

But who cares. The East Committee did an outstanding job, and by even the lowest standard have prevailed. All bills will be paid in full, not even an issue.

I will personally insure it happens.

Next.

I think I was next!

Thanks.

I think pi has it right. The West is strong, to very strong in their solidarity.

The east numbers seem to reveal the actual sentiment of their pilot group.

Much like cactus boy said, there are probably way more easties that just don't agree with the what's happened over this past decade than those that do.

Not really a poll, but a definite indication of how the whole east group really feels.

Naw, just cheap pilots! They think the work is done, so why pay now? And to be fair, some are so jaded by the whole thing they  are a little  out of touch. I'm learning that many guys  didn't get the email from the committee.
