PSA brought huge market share out west and tremendous goodwill. All of that was frittered away by a regional airline management mentality that couldn't handle the scope of the transaction.

It took Colodny, Malin and Schofield three years to eff it upi and hand it to WN.

Any thing else Mike?

Frankly sir, psa stands for a piece of sh airline?  You find it justified to get date of hire when it served your sorry ass, but for others it is ok because of your materialistic thoughts.

We got forced in to buying PSA, think it was at the time Delta got Western and AA got Air Cal.


PSA turned out to be a waste of 600 million dollars and a very unnecessary purchase.
 
 
To get hired at PSA back then you had to have excellent credentials. Many qualified pilots, a lot of military pilots who served with distinction, you had to pass a lie detector test.
 
PSA as an airline was in shambles.
 
america west airlines was started with scabs, drug runners and those who were the bottom of the barrel hires. The airline was living day to day as an enterprise.  Lets draw a line somewhere when you choose your thoughts regarding integration of pilots.

Soon the west pilots led by Mitch Vasin will unveil their master plan for the Legacy American pilots. Their dilemma is they cannot attempt their version of the Nicolau without placing furloughed Legacy American under all west pilots. Soon the Legacy American pilots will awaken to the plans of the 2004 hire "attorneys"
The pilots of ancient hulk 320's will soon try to explain why they expect to fly the 777 and 787.

I'm sure the will let the APA know about the 74's they use to have. Yea the APA will soon learn about the west pilots sense of entitlement.

The west pilots are like that passenger who runs up the aisle. Cutting in front of everyone else when the seat belt sign goes off.
