A/C 753US

wow that is a major oops. yesterday, the airbus at my city forgot to set the brakes but yet gave the indication for us to disconnect the towbar and the the plane rolled into the towbar after the disconnection. very minor damage if any but the pilot called us after landing and apologized for his failure to se the brakes

The least he should have done is apologized! :angry:

Whomever was walking the plane out is lucky they didn't get caught in the way.
 
N753US Is in PHX for repair to dent/hole on L/H side just fwd of L1 door. Wile walking out to A/C to see damage last night could not help but see: 1. six (6) screws on a belly panel that had been speed taped up in place. 2. a belly panel that was pealing apx, 6in X 2ft 3. #1 Eng I/B fan cowl service door that was held close with speed tape. 4. L/H aft wind to body panel with the worst speed tape job for loose or missing seal.

If this is the pride you take in your maintenance then I wouldn't let you work on my BICYCLE.

we put a pick in for the parts but 700 UW was to busy preaching to us how the IAM is better tham IBT and besides he says you guys cant touch our A/C so his little book tells him thats it call a road trip 1 lead 2 mechanics and lets not forget our favorite parts clerk

No, please say it isn't so!! 😱 700UW was in PHX and he didn't stop in to say hello?? I for one, would really like to meet him and Dell. It would be a hoot!!
 
Funny thing is that if the damage was by the door, why were techs working on the belly yesterday???
 
Well to start you couldn't miss the crap,speed tape,and other assorted hardware hanging from the acft, leads one to believe that speed tape and bubble gum repairs are your style...Don't float out west.

well the captain did actually call our ops and did in fact apologize-about 2 minutes after the plane had arrived in CLT!!!! The two agents that wing walked it back gave the pilot the brake sybol using their hands but it was the bump that the crew felt that got their attention. ramp agents looked at the plane and replied to the capt that the nose gear strut appeared ok.

Just curious, what is the pn# for bubble gum and speed tape?????
