wow that is a major oops. yesterday, the airbus at my city forgot to set the brakes but yet gave the indication for us to disconnect the towbar and the the plane rolled into the towbar after the disconnection. very minor damage if any but the pilot called us after landing and apologized for his failure to se the brakes

Hey next time take a quick glance at the parking brake set indicator light on the nose gear. Thats if it's working!

Since this topic has drifted....Let me see if this will get it back on track?

753 was Ferried out of PHX to PIT Base Maintenance..and it is now being repaired by PIT Based , IAM Represented Mechanics.

Not to add fuel to the fire with the above facts...as I'm sure that the equally qualified folks in PHX could have made the required repairs , had the company elected to allow the folks in the West to do so.

Yes that is true go figure same company but we out west are just NOT worthy, plus we didn't have enough speed tape on hand
