IORFA:

Blood pressure: 107/74. Resting heart rate: 65. Total cholesterol: 170. HDLs: over 100. Doctor says he wishes people half my age had my test results. And, I'm extremely happy. You took me to task for assuming that you are a senior f/a. Yet, you seem to know all about my health, my mental state, and my future. Mind if I have my doctor call you for a consultation? You should be rich with those talents.

Get back to me in a couple of years and let me know how well the LBFO is working for you. In the meantime, I'm done talking about it. I made my position clear. Enjoy.

Man, someone gets a little testy too easy. I see, your position is littered with false information with no hope of ingesting any truths. Good luck with that. I'm sure the pay raises and some sort of 401k match will make me happier than getting nothing. Yeah, your path sounds wonderful and all roses. Spare me the lecture. I prefer to keep my head above water as opposed to drowning. To each there own.

Last I read, Judge Lane said he is not going to grant another continuation...that he will rule on the 15th, up or down. However, the company has said that they will wait until the votes are counted by the APFA. If the LBFO passes, the company will not abrogate the contract--well, anymore than the LBFO already does for them.

Update: Just got a news release from a union rep that says Judge will now rule on the pilots' contract only on 8/15. Will wait on results of f/a voting before ruling on f/a contract, and as TWU unions accepted LBFO will not need to rule on them.

Ok, come clean. You are also registered as bluebird. Anyone who doesn't agree with you is subject to childish personal attacks. Have at it. It will keep you busy until you grow up, if you ever do.

I respect people who argue with facts, that isn't happening with you. You keep making false statements and have no inclination to actually learn the truth. Your hatred for APFA is so intense, that you are blinded by it. That is fine. I was just looking for someone to give me their reasoning for voting no while using facts, you still don't fit that bill. I'm sure it will be surprising to you, but I still haven't voted because I am still on the fence. Clearly I am more on the yes side, only because no one has been able to give me a good argument for no while using facts. Yourself included. To pound your fists and say screw AA isn't the answer. This is life, not the elementary school playground. It is your problem if you think my comments to you are childish, problem is that I keep trying to get you to use facts. I guess that is my problem, i should expect the same result if i cant get you to use facts. You even admitted that you were wrong once, you can't do it twice for some reason. I still stand by my statement that you get too testy way too easily. It's a message board, why would anyone take it personally?

There is NO way I could write what bluebird does. I might be crazy, but I ain't that CRAZY!!!!!

if we vote yes then the company only has to deal with the pilots which will probably work out in the pilots favor.

Just for clarification: SCOPE deals with class or craft, LPPs (labor protective provisions) deal with seniority.

Which in the end helps us with the "me too".

The "me too" clause that the APFA was able to secure late last week is a nice insurance policy. All the benefits without the risks!

From part of the APFA hotline:

Friday, we secured what is known as a “Me, Too” clause in the Company’s Last, Best, and Final Offer. This new language stipulates that in the unlikely event that the Company agrees to reduce the concessions it is demanding from the pilots, the LBFO will gain the same benefit. It must be stressed, however, that the Company has indicated very publicly that they are not willing to give any more ground in any negotiations that will follow the Court’s ruling and that it intends to impose the Term Sheets on workgroups that do not reach agreements prior to the ruling. Our team believes that deeper cuts for the pilots’ contract are more likely than a better deal.

Your leadership is committed to seeing the American Airlines flight attendants emerge from this most difficult time with the least amount of damage possible. I remain as positive as ever that we will see a merger inside of bankruptcy and that this step will steer us toward the path of recovery we so deserve.
