I hope it never comes to this. We have all been through enough with this company!! When do we get to sit back and relax and enjoy life for a bit? We've been taking it up the you know what for so long...when do we get a break???
 
If you get furloughed, how long can you keep your flight benns? And do they get term'd if you take a position with another carrier in the interim? Even if you intend to return to US upon recall?

Last go round the FA's had Flight bennies until they were recalled and they could work for another carrier.

Your me-too adds leverage to any changes, leverage you would not have alone and unprotected by FARs.

If I understand correctly the "me too" clauses are pilot FARs that are applied to the F/As.

Since the FARs are common knowledge then why the hold up in union/company talks?

Must we wait for the pilots to come to a contract settlement (heaven help us all)?

If so why?
 
Now that the UA deal is dead I wonder if anyone has any ideas as to what happens if we are split up in bankruptcy.

If we are split up (ala the shuttle) do we have any contractual rights or can we be stapled?

If we are not acquired as a "whole" where does that leave us?

Well regardless of how Usairways looks on paper we are SPLIT now. There are TWO sides to the flight attendant group. They may have a "fantasy" integrated seniority list but even if we were split we are still considered whole per our contract I'd think. Anyone?......
