Agents TURN DOWN Union

Do you even know how the process works?

If the US CSA and Res are more than 35% of the combined workforce there will be an election, if they arent, the CWA would have to collect A-Cards to make an election happen.

AA will argue that the new 50% rule applies

Representation during a merger is different, I posted the NMB's language from their manual.

700 is correct... there are a number of people that don't seem to understand the representation processes between mergers and normal representation votes.

The assumption that AA's unions have made during the US discussions, except for the TWU apparently, is that the AA unions would be the surviving unions and thus would gain members. The APA and APFA seem to think that one of the advantages of pushing the merger is that they would be the surviving union based on AA's size and would gain members in the event of a merger.

Given that AA agents have turned down representation, there would likely be a process simiilar to what occcured between DL's ground employees and FAs and the PMNW unions.

As (AA) Usual, I'd love to see the Hub 'breakdowns'.

DFW/MIA vs. JFK/LGA/BOS.

Bottom line. F em'. I'm DONE felling sorry for Ignorant MORONS.
I hope they enjoy EVERY Bite of EVEY SH!T Sandwich..that come's thier way !

Stupid is as STUPID Does.

Maybe not word for word, but I agree with you. This was the golden opportunity not to be outsourced in masses and they voted NO? AA management was probably performing jigs when this vote came out. I can hear the Riverdance music in my head. Duh.

Organized labor lost 398,000 members in 2012 according to the BLS:

Looks like the agents made the right call as other ditched their unions.
