It is only available for IAM members and the District Leadership made the decision.

It was at every single ratification vote.

And NON-IAM members are not entitled to the offer.

If you are an IAM member contact your representative and you will be allowed to view it.

Note to the moderators: This thread is going no where.

the thread is legitimate ;700UW YOU SHOULD BE GONE,GONE,GONE

WE WANT TO SEE IT POSTED.

IAM

Speaking of remembering posts anyone see this so called proposal yet and want to shead some light?

USVN:

I'm SURE every IAM member saw the
proposal, but it must have stunk so bad
that they are embarrassed to post it.

Either that, or the IAM told them they
would get the Hoffa treatment if they
gave the specifics. No matter what,
IF the proposal exists, and that has not
been proven to this point, then someone
besides 700UW or Dell has seen it and
will post the details sooner or later.

Like I said in an earlier thread, I'll check
with some of my sources and see if I
can get a copy to post here. I have a
feeling it was written in invisible ink
though.

I was at a ratification meeting in a small southern station and a member of the Negotiating Committee was there all night answering any questions we had in regard to the company's final offer, and this representative had a copy of the IAM's offer to the company, I read it and so did my coworkers at my station.

I have seen it, read it and held it in my hands, I know it is for real.

Well, then, what is keeping you from posting
the relevant details skippy?

At the LGA contract meeting the General Chairman from District 142 had a copy of the offer from the IAM also.

It was real, it contained real cost savings and would have saved utility at the big 8 stations, limited outsourcing on heavy and job protections and snapbacks. There was dollar amounts assigned to each and every item, for a total of $282 million.

As I said earlier I have also seen it. NO ONE will post the details. You have been told to many times how you can see it.

If the IAM's final offer is not published openly. How does any of us know what / if anything was submitted to the company?

This thread is going nowhere because the
IAM proposal was obviously a "turd", and
no amount of prodding will get these jokers
to post any details.

They would rather hide the facts of a
proposal that technically doesn't matter
at this point, because the company
rejected it. Instead of the IAM using
channels of communication such as this
forum to prove that the company passed
up this "jewel" of a contract, they would
rather cover it up because they didn't
press the issue with company. Instead,
they agreed to let the rank and file
vote on the COMPANY last offer which
was much worse according to the
IAM hardliners. Of course, no one
will ever know this because they don't
want anyone to know they gave up and
accepted the company proposal.

All I can say is that I'm glad the IAM
finally got smart and opened the
concession stand. This undoubtedly
saved 50% of the dues which they
could not stand to part with. It also
gave the company free reign to
impose their own terms. Nice job
IAM.

CRY AND WHINE ALL YOU WISH,CURSE , BLAME AND POINT FINGERS AT IAM....
48% OF YOU DIDN'T HAVE THE COURAGE TO STRIKE AND TELL THE COMPANY WHERE TO PUT IT.....
WHO'S TO BLAME?? THE IAM - YOU ARE THE IAM.....

SpinDoc:

Your comments are accurate. As you know, I said over-and-over again the IAM would not cut a deal. The IAM knew they had to agree to some outsourcing to be competitive and due to political reasons, they would not reach a TA that could create even greater problems for the National union.

In the IAM's view, the National union is more important than US Airways members, which took a huge hit much, much greater than the company's "ask". Also noteworthy, the IAM had the greatest percentage increase over the company's initial "ask" (more than 40% hihger) of any US Airways union.

See once again a non-IAM member and non-IAM rep and non-IAM negotiating committee member is posting falsehoods once again.

The IAM's final offer of 1/5/05 provided leeway to the company on outsourcing certain plane types and shops.

So I suggest since you know nothing of what the IAM Negotiating Committee proposed to the company, you should refrain from posting on subject matters that you have no idea about.
