Ah, ah, ah, young Padre!!! There is a "method" to my "madness". What is recorded on the CD is the high def versions while the iTunes downloads are in aac (condensed) format. So you have "options" when copying your CD to the phone. Secondly, the CD serves as a "hard copy backup" so once you put them on the computer put them back and save them for the rainy day. At .99 c to an $1.25 a song pop, this is cheaper. I think it's more like the 1980's but I'll take what I can get at this age! Now I need to backup my brain. Any ideas?Although I do identify with your taste in music, perhaps your teenager was displaying remarkable insight as to exactly why those CD's were in the "bargain" $5 bin!
Aside from that, who buys CDs anymore. That's so 1990s!
(Was there a $2 vinyl LP bin?)
