Although I do identify with your taste in music, perhaps your teenager was displaying remarkable insight as to exactly why those CD's were in the "bargain" $5 bin!

Aside from that, who buys CDs anymore. That's so 1990s!

(Was there a $2 vinyl LP bin?)
Ah, ah, ah, young Padre!!! There is a "method" to my "madness". What is recorded on the CD is the high def versions while the iTunes downloads are in aac (condensed) format. So you have "options" when copying your CD to the phone. Secondly, the CD serves as a "hard copy backup" so once you put them on the computer put them back and save them for the rainy day. At .99 c to an $1.25 a song pop, this is cheaper. I think it's more like the 1980's but I'll take what I can get at this age! Now I need to backup my brain. Any ideas?

Well, after checking back in it's nice to see the forum hasn't changed much. It makes me all warm and fuzzy, the east and west bonding going on. The posts about 8-tracks, brought back memories. My first car was a 70' Mach 1 with an 8-track. Man, have my tastes changed. Now I like Jazz (Miles Davis, Dave Brubeck, etc.). Before an eastie posts it, I'll do it:

This is why it would be a bad move for me to go to Charlotte🙂

Judge Rosenblatt denied the request for two reasons. First, he noted that “the motion is procedurally defective” because the Addington plaintiffs had “inexplicably failed to follow” the established procedure for obtaining a default judgment. Second, he found “the motion is improper because the Court concludes that USAPA is not in any case currently in default.” SPANKED AGAIN, OUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!

France is in the "East", East is in the east. Jazz is in the East. East is the best, Rrrricky Bobbie. Welcome back! (I'm not sure where Darth Vader is, thought.)

Try Clifford Brown and Bill Evans, even better.

Yes, very good.

I was bummed to recently learn Mose Allison has retired from touring. He came to a local jazz club a couple years ago, but I couldn't make it due to medical stuff.
