And they thank YOU for allowing them such low pilot labor costs, to the tune of $1 Billion. They should send MK,JJ, and SB a bonus every year for helping them keep their labor costs so low by creating USAPA.

They deserve every penny of what you have allowed them to make on the backs of the entire pilot group. They are smarter than you are Luv. Always have been and always will.
I DO get a bonus every year and so does Mark and Steve. Here is what we get: You guys are such SUCKAH'S!!! We are all EVIL, every single one of us. Don't tell anyone but as an added bonus I get to "shag" Felicity Shagwell every blue moon! (Or is that "blue balls....I can't remember???

A pilot that is furloughed is paying the ultimate price for his fellow pilots and should not be used as a freebee stepping stone for another group. His loss saved your job!

You guys had no problem watching west pilots get furloughed, so save me the acrimonious bull-pucky. Every single Delta and Alaska pilot I've talked to (I know a lot) has said furloughs go below active pilots in a merger. On the bright side for you though is the fact that the only pilots (other than east pilots) I've talked to that thought furloughed pilots should go above active were with American. Too bad they still said the Nic is it though.

You just keep saying that and keep tilting at the windmills. I don't care what ALPA pilots say. They got their own problems. Just got the UAL-CAL briefs for SLI. ALPA is in a world of hurt and its all because of ALPA leadership. SYIC. BTW, having over thirty years in the industry I know at lot of pilots everywhere, including AMR. That's not what they say.

Take advantage of all you can! It's all about me! By the way, as a reminder, there are no current furloughed east pilots.

But weren't those hired before that furloughed pilot, responsible for creating the job he sought to be hired into? And also responsible for supporting the company that the furloughed pilot hopes to return to?
Pilots just fly the planes. They do not create jobs. Like it or not, they are simply labor.

Where is the companies opening brief?

"The briefing schedule is as follows:
the opening brief remains due April 10, 2013;
the brief of appellee West Coast Pilot is due May 10, 2013;
the answering brief is due June 10, 2013; and
the optional reply brief is due within 14 days after service of the answering brief."

I guess they missed the order. It looks like the company is simply providing the venue for AwFOL and USAPA to argue it out. Bet the scheduling order won't have oral argument (if at all) until at least spring 2014. Speedy resolution.

Then how do you reconcile that with your earlier statements:

A pilot that is furloughed is paying the ultimate price for his fellow pilots and should not be used as a freebee stepping stone for another group. His loss saved your job!

The furloughed pilot got there on his own and with no thanks to those before him...yet saves the bacon of those before him.

Super hero?

You're joking, right?

Sorry, but it's humorous when you guys try and take the high ground. You tried to staple the west pilot group and when that didn't happen you did everything you could to harm us and force us to subjugate.

As a reminder, the AWA/US merger happened in 2005. Your tactic of delay won't change that.

And the East/West SLI is DOH with conditions and restrictions. Your tactic of suiing won't change that. Read document 194 from US Airways DJ action.

Staple who Bean? Even with straight DOH with NO C&R you see the West pilots start integrating into the seniority list with 1983 hire dates. So what's this "staple" stuff?

Boy, talk about some Sunday Morning entertainment. West Class pilots discussing the "value" of furloughed pilots, when they obviously don't even appreciate a pilot with seventeen years’ service, with NO furlough in his career here.

There will be discussion and perhaps bargaining with the APA during the M/B process as to furlough time. My fellow East pilots are wasting their time here discussing it with the West Class. They a chance to join the actual discussion during Wye River; and again during the current process. Instead they choose to still chase the "nic or nothing" path to failure.
