Wow! And yet you call yourself an "earlyretiree"...and that's the sum total of your "retiree" compensation? Ok then. It's now quite clear that you "...don't have to belong to a stupid union.." in order to have mastered the "stupid" part to perfection! 😉

No, you see, I didn't sign up for the lifetime in the airlines because I am in a union and I can't change companies because I'll be on the bottom of the seniority pile. I did that radical thing of getting an education and getting a job that is portable from company to company. Sure, I have to compete and perform as an individual, but I don't have to be part of a collectivist union that protects the dim, the weak and the slow. But, it's done wonders for you mate...

Say what you will about me, but if I don't like a job, I can go somewhere else, earn more and be happy, you are trapped in your career choice, that is why you cling to your pathetic entitlement. Might need to get some backup on this tidbit, since I only heard it second hand.

Apparently, in open session today near the end of the BPR meeting the junior CLT rep was "outed" as having been contacting (read harassing) the President of APA for a face to face meeting. YGTBFKM! Maybe he thought they had better "snacks" in the APA headquarters, who knows.

This contact occurred without the knowledge of the BPR, much less legal and the Officers.

And you all wonder why your vote on massive improvements to your lifestyle and income has been delayed? And now the Compass correction guy has been adopted by the CLT reps, in fact they tried to put him on the NAC yesterday! How has the RLA and NMB been working for us so far? Lots of "wins?"

See you guys in about 2-3 years, your pay raises have been put on hold in a gamble vs. a sure thing. For me (accounting for the 10K bribe, the 50K pay raise, and the 40% increase in my pension donation) I am out about 100K a year. Guess we will show Parker who is boss!

What exactly is it that these guys in CC get out of this for all their half truths and misinformation? How many time does this pilot group have to be handed it's head before they finally realize there are people involved in this process that are smarter than they are? Where does this undeserved sense of importance come from? Why does the minority of the East pilot group make the decisions that affect the careers of the rest of us?

If you make a decision about what is going on with the MOU without first hand knowledge (hearing our NAC and advisors), chances are you are not going to hear the whole story. There is an agenda here. Another roll of the dice. The BPR consists mostly of cowards that withhold information from this pilot group and pass off their version of the facts for whatever reason. Frankly, I think some of them have some kind of hero complex, thinking that at some point they actually might do something right that pays off...not likely.

Where are the members of this pilot group that think rationally, listen carefully, and make informed decisions based on facts? They had better get involved or the same bunch that have kept us in limbo for years are going to, once more, put your contract and your careers on hold.

Based on what I have seen so far of this BPR, if most of them told me the sun was shining, I'd go look outside.
