Guess you dont realize it was negotiated by Bush #1, not Clinton, Senate approved it after Clinton added labor protection, and actually brought back Bush #1 to sign in at the ceremony.

Umm...." after Clinton added labor protection"...Seriously?.."labor protection"? Whew! Yup...That's sure proved out to "protect" labor, hasn't it? 😉 It's always good to stop in here for some predictable laughs. 🙂

Are you a "good man", Pi?

"man"? 'cactusboy53: "This is SPARTA!''...."I will let the courts do my talking for me." Sigh! Lighten up a bit. After all...Not everyone can be a "spartan" and true...umm..."pillar" of "righteousness" to boot. 🙂

Guess you don't realize the NAFTA and GATT were bad for labor no matter who negotiated it and who signed it.

Enjoy the cheap Walmart junk made by slave labor, brought to you by free trade globalizism.

traderjake: "Both parties represent the interests of the Central Banks and Fortune 100, they just pander to different constituencies to give us the illusion of having a choice.

Quit being played for a fool. "

Pretty much.

Republicans suck.

They both suck. I've never seen it all summed up any more perfectly than was offered by the late George Carlin: "Sooner or later the people of this country are gonna realize that the government doesn't give a F about them...... It's interested in its own power, keeping it and expanding it wherever possible."

I would agree they both suck. The sequestration is perfect for both sides. They can blame each other for nothing getting done and then go on recess and continue doing....nothing. I remember when my son was in cub scouts (a long time ago). The cub scouts acted more mature than most of our politicians. Maybe what we need is a den mother to kick a-- and take names and teach civility and responsibility to name a few of the things lacking in todays politics.

All the best,

Bob of the Belarus

If the case is dismissed that still does not solve or fix the issue.

M/B can't be used to integrate east west. That is the law. usapa gets rid of the Nicolau and the court dismisses the case. What method is used or how does the east west list get put together? Can't negotiate because there is no one to negotiate with. Can't use M/B. usapa Will not go to baseball style arbitration. usapa can't just impose their will disadvantaging the west.

So explain how the east west gets fixed and how is that easier that using what has already been decided?

If its dismissed it will be DOH with C&R

This additional claim asks for Judge Silver to declare that, pursuant to McCaskill-Bond, the West Pilots are entitled to have party status, and the right (but not the obligation) to participate fully (with counsel of their own choice) in the MOU Seniority Integration process. The basis for this request is the demonstrated inability of USAPA, or any merger committee that it forms, to fairly represent the West pilots in a seniority integration. Now we are beginning another merger; one which will create the world’s largest airline with the world’s largest pilot workforce. Two seniority lists are going to have to be integrated via the McCaskill-Bond process. Implicit within McCaskill-Bond is the fundamental assumption that each bargaining agent can freely and adequately represent its respective members’ interests. For USAPA, that is simply not possible. Since prior seniority integrations have provided for third party representation, the West is requesting separate and equal standing in this seniority integration. We are confident that the Nicolau will be the list which is used for the McCaskill-Bond process. Separate West presence will help insure that the Airways-American seniority integration is not corrupted by lingering prejudices within USAPA.

Well, isn't that special. I know that the AOL is "special", but they are SO special that they deserve their own seat, with their own lawyers, but only if they want to, at the MB table. Of course they do. Now, as I pointed out to old cactus boy, I haven't agreed with much that USAPA has done, so using their logic I deserve my own table and lawyers at the MB table. Hell, lets have all 10,000+ of us meet at a Holiday Inn somewhere and knock it out, how does that sound?

What an entitlement attitude.

Perhaps. Perhaps you didn't called Jack Stephan to insist that your AAA Negotiation team return immediately to the JNC table. Perhaps you told Steve Bradford and the USAPA Van-down-by-the-river gang that voting in an independent union was a BAD idea. Perhaps after USAPA was voted in, you called Bradford and advised him that it was EXTREMELY ill advised to persecute 24+ pilots through RICO litigation (only to try AGAIN in the appeals court and be denied AGAIN). Perhaps you called el Commandante Cleary that it was a VERY BAD idea to seek wrongful charges against 3 of our pilots for "Identity Theft". Perhaps you even tried to counsel USAPA that using an attorney that promises the moon, and delivers not a scrap of cheese is bad policy.

No? Did you vote in USAPA? Did you not call and advise? Irish political philosopher Edmund Burke is credited with the following: "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.”

Are you a "good man", Pi? Did you do anything, or did you do nothing? Perhaps you applied the old reliable "Hope & Change" political philosophy.

Oh you west guys are so pure. Give it a break, you are at least 50 percent responsible for the mess we find us in. Don't act so dumb

I miss George.

He was right. Republican or Democrat, they(really 99.999% of us) want the same things. Money, material possessions, power and sex. People just use different ideologies to get and justify it. The older I get the more of a Libertarian I get, except when someone says something I disagree with. ;-)

Let's look at our little political fight. Democrats are pegged as wanting wealth distribution. Well, the Nicolau was a massive redistribution of wealth, so those that support the Nic must be Democrats. But, when USAPA took over they claimed to make it more even and fair, but with DOH they swung the pendulum more to their own side. Republican cronism? 🙂

We are all the same.

I know. It's crazy to think the West pilots actually feel they deserve to be treated fairly. What's wrong with those idiots?!!! You don't deserve your own seat at the table, you guys stole all the seats and threw the table over a cliff hoping nobody would notice. You were Wong (get it?) and its cost you a soul crushing amount of money permanently cementing your career earnings in the industry basement.

This is ending...it should have ended in '08 but the 9th didn't understand the level of depravity USAPA embraced. The 9th cost you dearly...oh well. Not my problem. M/B offers a legitimate window for the West to represent themselves and not the bitter, spiteful, self destructing group of aged, vitriolic, caustic Assholes that call themselves "adults" and have made a mockery of unionism and sh*t all over what should be a proud profession.

The death of the twitching stillborn fake union can't come soon enough. No sympathy here, You made your bed...

Pefect. What a couple of perfect poster children, complete creeps.

No more Warped that one whom toes the USAPA line in one breath and claims not to agree with them the next. At least I'm always consistent. I view the situation as it is. As it actually exists in reality... without resorting to the self-serving filter of a hypocrite.
