Seriously, you sound like this. Reminds me of the early 80's.

Getting to you snappy? Since 2007 clear has been one of the most prolific "integrity" screamers. Just poking him in the ribs. Truth hurt? If not, why protest so much against posts directed at someone else?

I don't think any arbitration panel is going to disregard the final and binding work of a highly respected colleague.

If it goes to a 3 way I predict the first thing the MB arbitration panel will do is combine the East and West list to reflect the Nicolau Award.

Do you stand by the work of your Asiana colleagues out in SFO the other day? Have you personally talked to any arbitrators about the Nic and gotten their opinions about it? Could be they see it for the disaster it is.

The arbitration was not a disaster. The results were not a disaster.

The disaster has been you east pilots and your actions after. That has nothing to do with an arbitrator.

I find it interesting that you project your opinion onto other people. The Nicolau is very similar to other awards. If ours was such a disaster it would be the only one of its kind.

Placing furloughed pilots below active pilots is not a disaster. Placing capts with capts, that is not a disaster.

The biggest disaster was your career prior to the merger. 17 years got you furloughed. That is a disaster.

Did I say "I predict"?

You're losing it, my friend.

Really? His "neutral shuffle" worked great because he kept you on bankruptcy wages for as long as you continued to balk at the agreed upon arbitration process & resulting list.

Effective the POR date, we all get the wage immediately. Neutral doesn't work, AND the new company can't benefit from the synergies.

Sorry Bub. APA has said "our" seniority will be done before they touch the AMR-LCC pilot seniority. Parker has said the same. The bankruptcy court has intimated the same.

The MOU time table is very short. You should spend your time on more productive activities, rather than poor prognostication.

Make sure the 9th circuit gets the word ! I am sure they care what DUI and the APA have to say ! You might want to reread the MOU and spend a little quality time reading it! Sorry son your dream of St Nic is just that, this one will be fun to watch too, how we luv that ASU local law club!

By now, we should all realize that Doug is an opportunistic predator.

By now? I think we've all known that for years. The Kirby proposal cinched it for me.

I just can't wait to see how the APA pilots react when they finally get a peek under the "sheep's clothing." It's not like all of us, east and west, didn't warn them.

Petes2cents: On the surface, it sounds terrible. But here’s the real story, which I am attempting to get published in the USA Today:
As a multi-year Captain for USAirlines, I profusely apologize to the public for the misleading full page advertisement by our new “union,” USAPA, in the USA Today this week.
This ad was nothing more than attempt at muscle-flexing by an upstart union trying to turn safety into a negotiating tactic. This “union,” of which nearly all of our fellow West-based and many East-based pilots refuse to become members, has, in the scant few months of its existence, committed such foolhardy acts as:
1) Blatantly disregard and attempt to circumvent legally binding, preexisting arbitration;
2) Falsely accuse and sue members of its own pilot body, the entire case of which was thrown out of Federal Court last week as completely false and malicious;
3) attempt to force nonunion pilots to pay absurdly high union “dues” under threat of termination; and, in its USA Today advertisement;
3) defend a group of disgruntled pilots who are attempting to hurt our airline financially by unnecessarily ordering and burning extra fuel. This has been done by running unneeded engines on the ground during delays, and flying at absurdly inefficient speeds and altitudes.
I can speak with authority that our professional dispatchers do an outstanding job planning our flights with plenty of margin of fuel safety. Only rarely do I need to order and burn extra fuel, as these pilots who claim to be “professionals” have routinely done.
The public can rest assured that ALL of our USAirways pilots do indeed operate their aircraft in a safe manner, and the vast majority do so in an efficient manner as well. I do, however, fear for the Company’s future at the hands of a few loose cannons, both in the cockpit and in our sad excuse for a union, who dare to call their acts “professional.”
Signed,
A Concerned USAirways Captain" (eric auxier)

"It's surprisingly true. Of course the computers calculate just how much is cost-effective. But as a pilot, I love to tanker...never can have enough fuel!"

Eric Auxier
"Lol, fortunately our company is good at respecting our requests 😉"

"Thanks for posting my vlog, Michael! Y'all come visit me at capnaux.blogspot.com !"

At the time I was upset that Dave would produce something so insulting to east pilots. Now I'm envious of his crystal ball. Unfortunately, it does throw all east pilots under the "goat bus"...many of which deplore USAPA's tactics, both then and now.

Oooh. Sharp comeback! When in doubt (or without proof), change the subject.

Now, why not just answer his question?

No, I have not spoken to the arbitrators.

You happy now? You seem a bit on edge.

Did I not say "I think" and "I predict"?

I predicted the exact Nicolau Award (except for putting the WB F/Os ahead of the NB Captains).

We'll see who's right this time.
