Bravo on the announcement of recall for the rest of our pilots. No spin needed. There is no downside to such good news. RR

Been thinking about what Keroseneuser posted a couple days back. I agree with his sentiment about moving forward, leaving both Nic and DOH behind us. We've enjoyed a virtual fence for over six years with the result that the east has tapped into its attrition, but at the expense of lower pay and benefits compared to the west; while the west has been saddled with stagnation and downsizing.

The problem is this, if FUKU (Formerly Union Known as USAPA) doesn't get an outright dismissal on the merits from Silver, they are in a quandary. If she issues an injunction then a trip to the 9th will take time and money. The timeline may very well extend beyond the point when we become part of APA and also beyond the point when FUKU's control of its revenue stream ends.

If you really want to call a truce and leave this battleground once and for all, the union needs to seriously consider abandoning DOH going forward. Either that or figure out a way to allow the west to represent itself at the M/B process from day one. You can't say lets forget about DOH and Nic, lets leave it behind us and then turn around and argue for DOH with C&Rs with the APA.

On the eve of Nicolau' s award we doubled down on DOH and lost. Are we about to do the same thing again?

Just sayin.

P.S. I'm from NJ. So the new trademark is not a sign of disrespect. I like it.

Ask your merger folks why they picked Nicolau, twice. He has never entertained a DOH merger in spite of your AA history. Your merger committee was staffed with inept individuals. Just sayin......

You have apparently not been thinking enough. Both groups have already agreed to move forward, and the Merger Committee (USAPA's committee, staffed by pilots from differing crew bases) is perfectly and legally capable of compromise. As has recently been the case, you again don't care to read, as in the CBL. Besides a total lack of grasping exactly what the CBL says about seniority, you might also see USAPA will have no problem taking care of any legal "needs" for a long time. To the tune of 6M not including any donations. And if you want someone to figure out how to give the West standing, why not start with a reasoned reply to one of my previous messages asking for debate on just that issue. It is not as simple as you coming on a web board and wishing us all Kum ba ya. I don't know what has brought this recent offensive from you against anything USAPA, but I personally find you lately to be a horse's rear end. I am from Atlanta, and it's not a sign of disrespect. I like it. RR

Our merger committee was just fine. It's was Ciabbatoni and the MEC threatening them with recall if they moved off DoH that was the problem. And our MEC was directly involved when we struck for arbitrators.

You have no clue to what's about to happen. USAPA won't see the spring.
