You're putting an inordinate amount of faith in a single letter. If the entire TA can be obfuscated for years..despite its plain language, how much faith do you really have in a SINGLE letter?

The TA was not obfuscated. The language was clear and followed. You guys just couldn't accept that it allowed what happen, to happen. Weren't you told that there was no required timeline for reaching a CBA and you guys were at risk if we drew it out?

A DFR was never allowed under any circumstance. I don't believe you're as stupid as you want me to believe. Perhaps someday you'll decide to value Integrity.

I have more integrity in my little finger than you have in your whole body "Mr I don't work for US." But hey, follow Clear and dca(phx)319 and run from the tough questions.

I'm not interested in that part of the MOU so I won't be reading it.

In the mean time, FUKU.

Ok. But just because you choose to not read the facts, don't think I will accept your offer of Saturday night entertainment. Even though Sue and I have an "agreement," it does not cover males (for either of us!) RR

Us Airways, America West Seniority Dispute rough draft timeline

2005-2006 US Airways, United in merger talks

2005 Us Airways, America West merge

May 2007 Arbitrator George Nicolau’ pilot seniority award was issued. The award was written with the assistance of two ALPA pilot neutrals, Steve Gillen United Airlines Pilot and Jim Brucia former Continental pilot now United Airlines Pilot.

2007 Us Airways pilots ask ALPA to review the award. ALPA president John Prater, former Continental pilot now United Airlines pilot, assigns ALPA vice president Paul Rice, United pilot, to review the award.

December 2007, Paul Rice, United pilot, delivers seniority list to Us Airways.

2007 A group of Us Airways pilots start a drive to start their own in house pilot union.

March 2008 ALPA puts the Us Airways ALPA Mec in trusteeship.

April 2008 In a National Mediation Board sanctioned election, Us Airways pilots oust ALPA and vote in USAPA as their official pilot representative.

May 2008 United calls off merger talk with Us Airways.

June 24, 2008 United Airlines starts furloughing pilots that will eventually lead to 1450 pilots at United on the street. Had a merger occurred using the Nicolau award derived with the assistance of United pilot neutrals, Us Airways pilots would have suffered the brunt of the furloughs and few United pilots would have been effected.

2008 America West pilots sue for DFR against USAPA.

2009 2010 US Airways and United restart merger talks.

April 2010 United Us Airways end merger talks.

June 2010 The 9th circuit court rules in USAPA’s favor.

Who's tense? .....Again, since you pushed the DoH list across the table, ....

"since you pushed"...."you"?...whatever happened to your "we/us/our group" wholesale-BS? 😉 You're a clinically interesting case-and-a-half Move. Imo; you seriously do need professional help.

You and clear seem really tense. I see he's back, let's see if he's done his home work. I'm just enjoying messing while I finish up my short call.

We are in a quagmire because of George Nicolau's big old turd.

Why would I have trouble with not putting a scratch on an airplane or passenger?

So its Nicolau's fault and we, the east, are innocent? Is that how it continues to work? We're in a quagmire because we, the east, have failed to successfully push a DoH SLI across the table and disregard an arbitrated award. With the complete and dominating majority that we have, we failed to do something as simple as a cram-down on the west. The west, with a case that has proven merit and now ripeness, held us off completely. Sure, we got a few upgrades, but those guys will be working Christmas for the remainder of their careers.

That's why we're in a quagmire. Because the law is against the east.

Said the Major who wants to dogfight everyone. Go take your meds and go to sleep.

No one on the east has any integrity. Not even you. You allowed this to happen.

You ommited "Sshhhhhh, take a break General." and some standard reference to "Your mom". You seriously might want to at least consider inquiring about therapy.

A point of curiosity here = What was it you expected to gain from the "east pilot" impersonation?

Ooops, did you slip out of character?

That individual never has slipped out of character here.

"No one on the east has any integrity. Not even you. You allowed this to happen."...? That's merely a predictable variation on the caught-child-doing-something-wrong response protocols. In this case; essentially sticking tounge out, pouting, crying and claiming "I didn't do it!....The dog/cat/brother/sister did it!"...."It's all your fault anyway!"..."And you can't prove I did it!"/BS.

So its Nicolau's fault and we, the east, are innocent?

Of course not. Like our posters in the training center show us, disasters are usually a string of events. The T/A, the ALPA merger policy, Nicolau, and probably the biggest-the shear hardheadedness of so many people.
