What did you say Pi? I was reading the docs. No surprise here. By a 3-1 margin. It's USAPA on the island of delay.

The longer USAPA tries to hide behind ripeness ....the more devalued the East Pilots careers are.

Huh? As if ever even possibly infecting them with the nic disease would somehow enhance the "value" of said careers?..Seriously? OK. I'm all ears here: How would it? 😉 Meanwhile, given the current state of affairs; who cares how long some lawyers play with each other?

PS: I must thank you for the fine joke though: "and the company can freely negotiate in a normal, legal, rational environment." 🙂

The longer USAPA tries to hide behind ripeness...something that will inveitably go away, the more devalued the East Pilots careers are. If USAPA is so comfortable with the legality of their behavior then why the hell would they want any form of delay? Why wouldn't they be racing into the court room to get that DOH and a huge raise?

We all know the answer to that but USAPA will never have the stones to admit it. What benefit is it to delay? You guys are $50+ dollars an hour behind everyone else and there is no end in sight. Ever. At least not until this Nic. thing is settled and the company can freely negotiate in a normal, legal, rational environment.

Not like the East had a choice, being sued and all. But the prospect of moving our dilemma to the front burner was generally acceptable if we were also going to get the Green Book pay rates. Keeping the dilemma front and center to come up to West rates, not so much. If you have not figured that out after 8 years, you never will. Delay and attrition rule the day out East, absent a big enough pay raise. There has always been a price (there always is.) Up until this merger nobody was willing to pay it. RR

Did I stutter? It's was Judge Silver's order that asked the question of whether to dismiss without prejudice, not USAPA's. They just answered. Why spend the money on a hearing over a point that is probably moot?
